FSW Fall 2015

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

I scored an 89 today on the HESI and will be applying for the night program at Lee with an 88. Does anyone know how many seats are available for the part time night program?

Trying to bump any thread on the FSW applicant threads. What does everyone have for points? I'm at 88 but going to try to retake the hesi. Best case scenario I'll have 93 or 98 points. Worst case I stick with my 88. Fall part time applicant.

I think both of you with a score of 88 will definitely get in. I hoping to get an 88 for my application too. I am going to retake test in May so I hope to get a higher score. The sad part is that I cant even study right now for Hesi because there is so much with my other classes that it is overwhelming. Ahh...lol. We will get in!!!

I think we should definitely unite both threads together, its confusing going back in forth. lol

Hoping 88 is that magic number :) I am actually thinking the day time program might not be feasible so I may end up just having 1 choice. Yikes! MamiLuv, I feel for you. I'm taking math online this semester and it has been hard for me to keep up. I also entered the semester with a 3 week old baby and a very active toddler! We can do it though! I've been stressing over this program for what seems like forever. Each semester recalculating my points and what not. I have a friend inside the PT program and asked her about my 88. She recommended I try retaking the HESI. She was also kind enough to ask her fellow classmates and some said 88 should be good, some said shoot for higher. One said to get a hold of Evelyn in the advising office and she would be able to tell you the average points of people who got accepted last semester.

How do we do that?!

Hi everybody, I'll try to apply for this fall collier campus 1st choice but I only got 84 on my Hesi í ½í¸ . With all 9 pr and GPA 3.9 I only have 79 points. Anybody got in before with less than 80??? Tx

I made a video about my FSW HESI experience if anyone is curious/interested.

slewis829.sl Did your friend tell you how many seats are available for the night program?

No, unfortunately she did not ): I will ask and see if I can get a reply!
