Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.
Who is joining me next fall in nursing?
I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.
I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.
Quick question for those who have taken the HESI twice. Where the questions similar to first time or completely different? Like did you see sort of the same questions on a&p and biology?

Hi guys! I have been slacking on taking the HESI. I am going tomorrow to try to get a seat before the May 15th deadline . Other than that, I'm pretty much ready to go. My final for my last pre-req is tomorrow. I'm stressing out but I hope the best for all of us!

Good luck on finals. I have two on next monday. You better get on hesi. Im taking mine may 13th. I havent studied much since last time I took it. I better get to it.

I signed up for the HESI today. I'm taking it on May 11th.... My finals are over! Just took my last one! I'm glad that's over with so I can focus on studying for the HESI. Good luck on yours!!!! :)

Ok, I asked if College Algebra was fine and they said starting in next May for the fall, they will require Statistics. For now I am safe to say, I will be good for next application period. The classes they are adding for the natural sciences are phy1020C, BSC1050C, BSC1051C or BSC2008C. I have the powerpoint file of the nursing orientation if you want to see. Right now I am studying for Hesi and I found a helpful quiz taking site. Especially practicing on vocab, grammar, and reading. I am also studying my notes from anatomy and biology. Good luck. Im taking the 13th too. You are right, I will be missing two classes but like yous said you never know. Im hoping we get in though.
Hey everyone! I have a important situation and I'm very confused!
So I am currently a student at FGCU but I applied to FSW, got accepted, took the HESI (I got an 85.33 overall :) ) and now all I have to do is submit my application. A lady from admissions was telling me that they wouldn't really consider my grades because I am enrolled in Microbiology for the summer (at FGCU is that matters), so it's "incomplete"? Its my last prereq that I need to take....she sort of implied that I should just drop the class so when I send my transcripts, everything is complete. I spoke with someone who had a role in the BSN program but she wasn't sure. And my advisor thought the situation was weird.
I'm so sorry this post is long but I really don't want to drop a class that I NEED, but at the same time, I wanna be considered for the program.
I'm so frustrated now and annoyed with all the stress I have going on. I've been trying to get a hold of a transcript evaluator but no luck yet. So maybe you all can give me some input while I'm still trying.
