I wanted to create a new thread for Summer 2017 hopefuls (it seems far away, but it will be here before we know it).
I am very excited to start this journey, but I have to finish a few more prereqs. I am wanting to buy a HESI A2 study book, but I am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw on one thread where a lady swore by Elsevier, but I want to make sure that is a good one before I buy it. Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, just applied for the Summer 2017 program, took the HESI for the first time today, Anatomy was the one I had a hard time with. If I have calculated accurately, my points are 233. Is it harder to get into the evening program?
I just submitted my application! I decided so last minute (like 2 weeks ago) to apply to this program so I was stressing majorly, but I got it all in on time. I had no idea that having a degree earned you points until I read the comments on this thread. I had to call and verify that they had my Bachelor's degree so hopefully that helps a bit since 2 of my prerequisites are AP and didn't get me very many points. Anyway, good luck to all of you and may March get here quickly so we can find out our fates!
Hey all, unfortunately I was not able to sign up for Summer semester due to some personal issues in life- we all know how that goes. However, on the bright side I was/am able to finish my A.A. this semester and therefore add those points on for fall semester. I am sitting at 220.5pts, I would love if when you all get your acceptance letters if you could post the cutoff score so I know if I need to retake my HESI in time for the fall deadline, thank you so much and best of luck to all of you beautiful people.
I applied for the summer program but do not have my MAC1105 done yet with out it my total points including my points from my HESI which I got a 84 on, is at 191. Do you guys think I have a chance to get in with out my points for MAC1105?
Hello, everyone! March 8th can't come quick enough! Does anyone have a document that breaks down the point system for nursing school admittance? I know it's too late to change anything for summer, but inquiring minds want to know. :) Also, does anyone know how many seats there are? TIA and good luck!
I am hoping to get into the nursing program this summer. I keep reading in different threads about a nursing packet. Is that something different than the application listing on the website? Just wanted to find out if my score of 217 points would be enough to get me into FSCJ's nursing program for the Summer of 2017. I'm a late bloomer, 53 year old male, and I'm excited but nervous about getting in. A decision this late in life has to have a failure is not an option view point. Anyway, my name is Kirk and if I get in I look forward to meeting the future nurses at FSCJ.
