  1. Awesome, thank you for asking! I really hope I get nights/weekends!!!!
  2. How many accepted people chose nights and weekends? I'm anxious to find out if we got our first choice!
  3. My letter said the same thing but no actual points shown. I think I was around 233 but I wasn't totally sure. I believe they're being sent in batches. Some of us found out earlier and some just found out just now. I hope you all get letters soon!
  4. I was accepted as well!
  5. I got into my program guys!! Thanks again for all of the support!!
  6. Check your emails!!!!
  7. Don't apologize! I'm sorry you didn't get it this time but you definitely have a competitive score. I wish you luck next semester! It's just making everyone anxious to see our letters as well but that's not your fault at all!
  8. We should find out by March 8th! Good luck to all of you!
  9. I heard they'd be telling us by tomorrow.
  10. I had a very similar experience in my A&P class. We had an incredibly tough Professor so a lot of people struggled big time. I busted my butt and maintained a 99 in the class all the way until the end. I wasn't well received by the other students at all. The next semester, those were the same students who wanted to be in my study group. It sucks but it's human nature to be jealous. I chose to take the high road and help them study. I learn better by teaching others so it was mutually beneficial. Unless someone is outright rude to me, as one girl was, and then I just ignored her. All that matters at the end of the day is you and your family. No need to feel guilty as you're giving yourself a better shot at being competitive for nursing school acceptance and a better life for your family!
  11. I used the PocketPrep app for the vocabulary section (and the entire test). It was $15 and very helpful. Similar words to the actual test. I scored a 100 on the vocabulary section. A few words I just knew from doing medical transcription for a year but that app definitely helped in this section as well the others.
  12. Thank you! I am in Florida.
  13. Thanks for the support everyone. It took a day of being a bit sad but I'm ready to get back out there. Nursing is my dream and one rejection doesn't mean it won't happen. Less than 11 days now until I find out about my other application and yes, it will be better for my family. This program has a nights/weekends option which would allow me to keep my job, do school functions with my kindergartener, and minimize daycare for my littlest guy. I'm still very hopeful. And if not, well then I will be back on the application bus immediately as a few schools here have May application deadlines. I hope those of you still waiting aren't stressing too much!
  14. Well I didn't make it into my first choice. That one was a long shot anyways but it's still a little disappointing. Should hear from my second choice within 12 days. This one has requirements more geared towards my strengths, so I feel a bit more confident, and honestly it is a better choice for my family but rejection always hurts. Especially since I no longer have a backup plan.
