I emailed you the packet. Micro is the only class that doesn't have to be completed before the application date (chemistry is a prereq for Micro). So, no, you don't have to take it right away; however, it has to be done and Micro before the program begins. I am currently taking chemistry online with Alex Kajstura (spelling might be wrong). I don't have any experience and it is going good. I work full time, so online is always the best option for me.

Does anyone know what time night classes are in the nursing program? I am looking WAY ahead, but need a general idea.

Okay, so I am definitely recommending Alex Kajstura for CHM1020. He is super nice, helpful, and responds to questions quickly. I just started the class Monday. I like that he lets you work ahead. I am excited to take A&P1 and Micro over the summer. Any suggestions on professors for those classes? Y'all are so nice and helpful, I hope we get to be in the same nursing class/group. :-)

I haven't taken classes since 2012 and those were all business-related classes. I am no use to you on that question, sorry!

I am taking Chemistry right now, so I can take Micro. I plan on taking Micro during the summer and A&P2 as an accelerated course in the fall. Hopefully I can find one, so I can finish before the 12/1 deadline. Anyone else planning to take Micro during the summer? I bought the Elsevier book for the HESI2 - I am hoping once I take the sciences that the A&P part will be easier for me. Hopefully we are classmates and will get to know each other better. :-)

J, I emailed this very question to Cheryl James and she said that you can't use the points for that class on your application if you are enrolled at the time of the deadline. That could mean a loss of 24 points just for that one class if you get an A in it (if I am understanding the points correctly).

I am a teacher, too. :-) Not nearly as long, but that is a neat connection.

I wanted to create a new thread for Summer 2017 hopefuls (it seems far away, but it will be here before we know it). I am very excited to start this journey, but I have to finish a few more prereqs. I am wanting to buy a HESI A2 study book, but I am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw on one thread where a lady swore by Elsevier, but I want to make sure that is a good one before I buy it. Thanks in advance. ~Heather
