FSCJ Summer 2017 Hopefuls

Published

I wanted to create a new thread for Summer 2017 hopefuls (it seems far away, but it will be here before we know it).

I am very excited to start this journey, but I have to finish a few more prereqs. I am wanting to buy a HESI A2 study book, but I am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw on one thread where a lady swore by Elsevier, but I want to make sure that is a good one before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

who sent the email? I wonder why no one else is getting antyhing

:( sorry to hear that. Now I am starting to lose hope!

has anyone else received anything? I don't get why they wouldn't send everything at once.

Hello! This is my first time posting. I've been reading the comments and thought I'd chime in. I haven't received an email yet; however, when I do, I will comment with details. Also, I applied with (I think) around 215 points. I say "I think" because I didn't realize they gave extra points for having a bachelors degree. So, I really have no idea how many points I ended up with. Anyway, best of luck to everyone!

The email was sent to me and the other applicant from [email protected]. Again, the email said thank you for trying, the program is competitive and to please attend the info session in April. That was about it. Sorry it's unnerving to some.

Don't apologize! I'm sorry you didn't get it this time but you definitely have a competitive score. I wish you luck next semester! It's just making everyone anxious to see our letters as well but that's not your fault at all!

Thanks for being open and telling us your experience. The pool is very small in the summer I'm sure you will get in.

Hey thank you for the positive comments! I'm coming from Santa Fe College and didn't notice that human growth and development was required, instead of nutrition, until I submitted my application. Kind of a shame that each school has different required pre reqs. So even though my points were above 200 and I applied with military experience, not having that class disqualified me, maybe. Now I'm scrambling to try and take HG&D in a half semester to even be able to apply for Fall. Good luck to everyone who makes it and to those who don't... Hopefully I'll see you in the Fall haha!

Sorry to hear . Take Professor Moses....easy A

Check your emails!!!!

Just found out i got accepted! Woo thank you guys.
