Hello, everyone!
Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?
That's my main reason for applying to FSCJ for nursing, because of their reputation. I think the administration is that way for a reason. In a way, they are preparing us for the real world. There isn't a huge window for time prep in the medical field and you have to get things done under pressure and at the drop of a dime.
It reminds me of how my friend described her experience at FAMU. She said you had to stay on top of admin and work for everything they gave you and not take it personal. But she also said that prepared her when she graduated because that's how it really was and she had a head start against others. Yea it's frustrating but I believe they make us better.
FYI: The WIA scholarship application opens on Saturday, November 1st. Even if we haven't received our letters yet I'm still going to apply so it is one less thing I have to worry about.
When I read that some of you got your acceptance letters I practically ran to my mailbox with a 2 year old in tow. It's quite a hike but there was nothing at all. I usually get at least one piece of junk mail. So I'm not sue if they have come yet or not. My apartment complex is like the red-headed stepchild on the post office. We hardly ever have the same mailman/lady.
Does it say in the acceptance letter what the cutoff score is?

I do not see the cut off score on my packet.

I am still watching the mailbox like a Hawk. I read the prev. posts but I cant stop looking at the darn thing hoping the letter will come TODAY. You guys sitting at 200 plus points should be okay but I am so worried with 178.
I know last years cut off was lower than that but what are the chances it will be this low again?
