Hello, everyone!
Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?
Yea, we still have a little time. It seems that they were sent out the 17th - 20th. I know how you feel, I come to the site like 10 times a day. I am nervous. Either way, if it is YES or NO, I just want to know.
I check the site as well all day everyday. I was fine with waiting until November but when I saw that previous semesters received theirs a lot sooner it has drove me insane. I called the front desk, who are no help by the way; the lady told me that the first week in December is when we should see acceptance or denial letters. My heart dropped, I think she was just saying that due to the fact that they always give out generic vague answers to anything you ask them.

Yea, they are going to give you a general date. It normally takes up to 8 weeks. But it depends on the amount of applications they have to go through. Honestly, i think we should hear something soon. Don't fret, it sounds like you have a high enough score to get in. Normally anyone with 190 plus gets into the program. Getting your notice the first week of December is unlikely especially because it is so close to the holiday season and the semester ending. You have to have your background, fingerprints, titers done prior to the program starting and no one is going to be there during the holiday. So i HIGHLY doubt that you won't know your fate until the first week of December it will be before that. Just relax, enjoy this time because when you get in you won't have time to relax. I graduated the LPN program in May from FSCJ. It took us maybe 6 weeks to get our letters back and it took me a week to get my fingerprints, background and titers done.

That's what I was thinking. I mean we have two major holidays coming up and school Will be out like December 20 or so, for the holiday break. It would make ssense for us to know something soon in order for us to get our stuff turned in, in a reasonable time frame. Does anyone know when class will start in January?
