FSCJ SPRING 2015

Hello, everyone!

Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?

I mailed my app in 9/26 and on 10/6 I got a page of the app that they did not need mailed back to me. So it seems that they are going through them pretty quick.

I also heard they didnt get nearly as many applicants so maybe that will speed things up as well!

I too went back and read post from all those who applied for spring of 2014 and a lot of them received their letters around the 18th of October. The school has up to 8 weeks, they don't necessarily take that long unless they feel like it. I'm hoping they send out letters soon, waiting is dreadful.

I know. I am so nervous I can't contain myself. I know that a lot of people got their packets between the 18th and 20th and some got them like 2 weeks later. I hope I get in but even if I don't I will keep trying. But hearing that they haven't had as many candidates as they have had in the past, makes me hopeful. I had a higher score than the cutoff from Spring 2014, so I am just going to keep my fingers crossed and stalk the mailman. :yes:

I was hoping someone could explain to me how to calculate my score. I haven't been to worried about it until now because I've been out of the country on vacation. It just doesn't look as simple as the NAT.

What was last years cutoff?

SPRING 2014 was 176.79

this waiting game is the worst! Also, i don't live in Jacksonville I'm from out of town and if i am accepted i will be moving of course. is there anyone else who is in the same boat because i will probably be in need of roommates.

I haven't heard anything yet :( it's just so hard to believe they came out so early last spring. I had my heart set on waiting to find out in November but now I'm on edge all over again haha!

Hopefully we will hear something soon. I also saw where the spring terms students from 2013 and 2014 received their letters on Oct 17,18, and the 20th so we sttill have a few more days. The 17th is Friday and the 20th is Monday sooooo I will be keeping an eye out! To all the other prospective students keep us informed if you hear anything. I will post if I get any updates as well.
