Hello, everyone!
Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?
Wow! Yes it is a small world (: dr Heekin is in the process of leaving the group and is relocating to the DePaul building. I do surgery coordinating for Dr Puckett Dr Acevedo and Dr Sternberg so I stay super busy and always in communication. With the hospital since that's where they all operate
ATTENTION GENTLEMEN....
..and ladies. lol
Nothing in the mail. Mail man stalking to be continued.
P.S.
For those of you applicants who are reading these comments looking for who is applying with what scores, I'm applying with a 190.5 and I have a friend who applied with a 186. Hopefully we both get in, it would be nice to walk in seeing a familiar face. Good luck to all!
Cody.
I feel like I'm behind reading the comments about those of you that work in a hospital. If you don't mind me asking, did you guys have any experience before you started? If not, how did you get the position or find out about it?
I've applied before but they always say a certain amount of experience before they consider anyone.

I applied with very minimal experience. I will PM you about my hospital hiring.

I had prior nursing home experience but I also knew someone that was a hiring manager at the time I started working at the hospital.

Most hospitals are very flexible, especially when they know your in school for nursing.
