Proactively read. There were 3 things I was always thinking about during the reading portion: what's the author writing about, why is he writing about this, and what kind of details are presented? Everything else will come naturally afterwards.

Don't give up. Keep practicing problems in all sections. Be proud of yourself for your performance this time than your previous attempt. You're gonna kill it next go around! ?

Hang in there. It's a test of your resilient nature. My first attempt for reading was 78, my second attempt was a whopping 92. God is Faithful! I hope my scores will encourage you.

Okay so I hate waiting for stuff...so I am here to vent so I don't take it out on my hubby. Anyone else anxious?

Extremely anxious! I am ready to prep and plan already. I have already (prematurely) started looking at stethoscopes, looking into obtaining documents, and what comes next to pass time. (probably not helping) But I know we will be facing the holidays and are expected to meet those post admission deadlines & the way my "shady" doctors office does scheduling-God bless. I am just ready! Good luck to you! And of course to us all!

Just be prepared to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. They are super unorganized and the advisor isnt great at answering questions. You will need all of your vaccines and titers. Dont make the mistake of going somewhere like carespot for any of this...you will pay an arm and a leg. Ive gone to some sketchy place called medical express..but hey, they got the job done and i spent alot less money lol.

Here are some requirements we need.

Hello All!

I’m hopping in this forum now too. FWIW I commented on the fall 2019 forum saying the cutoff was 143.5 IT WAS A TYPO and the cut off for fall was, in fact, 134.5

sorry if I freaked anyone out!

I missed fall by less than a point due to a math class from 2011 with a “C” -__- but I got an A in statistics class the summer that’s suppose to take the place of that. So fingers crossed it brings me over the hump.

Side note, anyone here also apply to JU?

hello ! is it true that even tho u still have one last pre-.u going to get in?

@childofGodjesus it depend which prerequisite. There are mandatory prerequisites like anatomy 1 &2 and microbiology for example that they require to be completed prior to admission to the program. But for humanities and English for example you can be enrolled in the course but it has to be completed before you start the nursing term you applied for. I applied for spring 2020, and have everything completed but humanities. I am taking it in fall term C starting next month and I will be done in December just in time for spring term. I was able to apply, but I also am missing the points I could have gotten if i already had humanities completed. On the website it outlines these guidelines, I email the nursing counselors directly and they tend to respond pretty quickly if you have any other questions.
