FSCJ Spring 2014 hopeful

I haven't found anything for spring 2014 hopefuls so I wanted to put it out there and meet any other applicants. I am currently taking chem over the summer & I am enrolled in micro for fall. I took my NAT yesterday. I will be applying in Aug for a spring start with 204.32 points. I am hoping to make it in spring rather than having to finish micro and need those points, pushing me back to summer start. Almost 2 years of pre-reqs and sweating it out, it's almost our turn to apply :yes: I am stoked!!!

So, i'm currently in Intro Chem, and then i'll be doing Microbiology in the Fall. I am signing up for the NAT - and i'm freaked out! Ahhhh!

Kjkkm, yes I had trouble getting through to them, but I kept trying and finally got an answer. Try calling at 9am Monday-Friday and you should eventually get an answer. It was during the morning time I had finally got an answer and it was around 9 or 9:30am

Hello and welcome. Don't freak out. Just relax, stay calm and be confident in yourself. You can do this. I have read many posts of people who didn't do as good as they wanted to because of them being overwhelmed by nervousness. Everything that is on the nat is information that you have seen before. The thing about the test to be concerned about is the short time period they give you for each section but don't let that get the best of you either. Don't rush but don't spend too much time on one question. If you don't know the answer, make a educated guess and move on. You do not get penalized for wrong answers.

Your welcome! I'm glad to hear that. I was relieved too when I got an answer, because I kept calling and calling and leaving messages and didn't hear back from them. So when are you taking it? Make sure you be there on time because he will not let anyone in after the class started under no circumstances. He said that if he did, he would have to start everything all over for the late comers. So it is best to be there early to be safe.

I can't wait until September, because that is when I'm retaking the NAT. I will take it at the north campus so I can turn my application in the same day. I am soo ready to get this over with, so I can figure out my total points. Right now with my points from my classes, I have a 97. Too bad I can't take it any sooner than September, because I just took it around the end of May. Well, I think I can take it in August but I will wait until September to give me more time to prepare for it

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have posted. I think I am going to wait and apply for summer. Does anyone know if there is anything different with summer versus any other semester. I heard they accept less students for the summer term but not sure if that is true. The Nat has really done something to me. I can only speak for myself but I am terrified of taking the Nat again and not doing well. I was planning on taking it in September but then I thought about it, if I don't do well again, I can't take it over until June of next year. *Blankstare* That would put me back a whole year because I won't be able to apply until 2015 because of the new application dates that will be starting Fall 2014. I am going to give myself a few more months to prepare just for the science portion. I wish everyone luck on getting accepted this semester:cat:
