FSCJ Nursing Fall 2016

Hello everyone!

I haven't come across a thread for FSCJ Fall 2016 yet, so I wanted to make one. I know it's a little early, but I'm really excited! Who is planning on applying for this term? If anyone has gone through the process of the program already please give us advice.

I am ready March 1, I am finishing up my DEP 2004 class and will be applying with out points from my micro but still giving it a go! Wishing luck to everyone!

I am sitting at about 196 too because I won't have my micro. I did what I feel is fairly good on the HESI and scored what I feel is a pretty good score, but there is room to do better, however, I am not sure I would do better. I feel 196 may be ok, but you never really know. I will see how I feel when I get closer to the date and if I have time to prep to take it again before the deadline.

I re-done my score because I found where I had made a mistake. I have 192 points. I'm relying on the minimum score to be in the 180s for entrance like it was last year. I have taken the Hesi twice and did better on the 2nd time around. I think I'm just going to stick where I'm at now and pray I get accepted. Good luck everyone.

Hello all. I am brand new to this site and am transitioning to a second career in nursing after 20 years in education. I actually started this journey five years ago, but family circumstances kept me in teaching. Now I am ready for a new challenge. Would anyone be kind enough to email me ([email protected]) the FSCJ nursing packet, specifically how to calculate my score under the new requirements with HESI? I have just two prereqs left (AP2 and Micro) to take Summer 2016. Thank you, and good luck to all.

Hi! I'm hoping to apply for the fall semester as well. I don't know much about the program yet though. Can someone tell me if I have to take Micro before I apply or if it's okay to take that course this summer? Do people get in without those points? Also, does anyone know if it's even offered in the summer? I have a bachelor's in Health Science so I am waiting to find out if all of my other credits transfer but I never took Micro. I'm not moving back to FL until March so I can't take it until summer semester. Also, would someone be willing to send me the application packet? ([email protected]) I have no idea where I stand with points right now. I'll be taking the HESI next month hopefully and then getting my CPR cert once I get down to FL.
