FSCJ Nursing Fall 2016

Hello everyone!

I haven't come across a thread for FSCJ Fall 2016 yet, so I wanted to make one. I know it's a little early, but I'm really excited! Who is planning on applying for this term? If anyone has gone through the process of the program already please give us advice.

It is okay to apply without micro. Yes people get in without the points if they did well on hesi and have mostly As on the other pre-reqs :)

Hello All.....I am applying for Fall 2016 as well. I just looked over the application last night and noticed that now you lose points when you multiply your total by the 0.5. That really is discouraging b/c I technically lost 3.5 points that I could have really needed. Makes me more nervous now about doing well on the HESI. Anyone else end up losing points that could really make a diiference in being accepted or not?

Hi, I am applying for Spring 2016 because I lost one of my parents in december. I also I am taking the hesi soon. Please send me a packet at this email account. I am taking Chemistry and micro now.

Also how do I prepare for the biology portion of the hesi? Is quizlet enough? I need to know what to study for the A&P and biology sections.

Feb 1 falls on a sunday, are any of you turning in your application that day? Is the nursing office at north campus even open on a sunday?

I suggest turning it in the Friday before. They're not open on Sundays.

Do any of you guys know anything about the St. John's river college program? I think I may apply there too just for security, but I can't find any forums or anything about thier program. Is it a good one?

A few people asked for the application to be sent to them, I just don't want to send if someone else already has, so if you still need it let me know I can forward it to you.

Not sure if anyone would know this, but I know for the fall semester they are not offering night classes so that is less seats available, have they done that before? I am worried it will make the points much higher than the average 186ish cut off and I am entering with out my micro points so it's making me super nervous!

Oh no!!! Where did you hear that from? That is so weird they are only offering day classes. Do you know the reason behind this?

Evening and weekend Information:

Summer 2016 – 24 evening and weekend seats at Deerwood but there are some events you must come to North Campus to complete

Fall 2016 is Daytime only.

Spring 2017-24 evening- weekend seats at North Campus.

Summer 2017-24 evening and weekend seats at Deerwood but there are some events you must come to North Campus to complete.

I'm not sure of the reason. I and I'm not sure if they have done this before and if so what the point cut off was. :( makes me nervous! because only makes sense the point cut off may be higher
