I know this is early, but I am sure there are Fall hopefuls out there for 2011.
Anyone out there yet, or am I just overly eager?
If you look under exclusions for most insurances, exams and immunizations that are intended for school, employment or recreational purposes are non-covered.
My wish list is available on my FB page for all my supportive friends, family and MW buddies! lol
I can't wait but I am really bummed about the classes being on the NS. That is kinda far for me. Deerwood would have been the perfect location. Does anyone know if we ever relocate? Will we have to complete the entire program at the North campus?

Two old women were sitting on a bench waiting for their bus. The buses were running late, and a lot of time passed. Finally, one woman turned to the other and said, "You know, I've been sitting here so long, my butt fell asleep!'. The other woman turned to her and said "I know! I heard it snoring!":zzzzz
An American was waiting on a London street corner. An attractive English girl was passing by when a gust of wind blew her dress above her waist. "A bit airy, isn't it? " remarked the American. Hearing this, the Cockney girl replied indignantly,"'Ell yes! What did you expect - feathers? !":lol2:
A neutron walks into a bar, sits down and asks for a drink. Finishing, the neutron asks "How much?"
The bartender says, "For you, no charge."
Happy Hump Day!

all the stuff that you buy from merrick (shoes, and uniform stuff) is 200.55 give or take a couple of dollars, but you have to buy other stuff from a place in town plus khaki pants. If you want to look the pass code is (FSCJ7627) The uniforms make you look like a big marshmallow (well that is how I felt). You have to get the uniforms from merrick so bargain hunting is out. Then the Blue shirt is 30.00 a piece. After that have to buy a skills kit @ 91.00. Fingerprinting 53.25. Background @ 38.00. Books for the min 890.00. Plus stethoscope and BP cuff. All of this is out of pocket. Well the books could be covered on financial aid but the rest is up to you.
Just wanted to check in and wish you guys luck in the waiting game! I know your half way through it but keep your heads up! Those letters will come soon enough! Im half way through first term and it is going great! It has rocked my world but Im loving it. We just had our simulations today before we start clinicals. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask away! I was in the same boat just a few months ago so I know your pain!
Hey Knoxyboy! How are you?! Tell us everything! lol but seriously, glad to hear you are doing well. I have a couple of questions.
Do we have to buy our uniforms from Meridy's? What is orientation all about?
How do you know what section to pick? (not sure if this is the correct term but I think I read something about this on other boards)
Will I have time for anything besides school during the first semester?

Amp,
Insurance doesn't usually cover any of these kind of expenses. It is considered 'well care' and insurance is more for sick care. Every insurance plan is different, but this is the norm. Wherever you go, they will probably bill insurance as a courtesy, but insurance usually deems it as unnecessary.
I hope this helps. :-)
