I know this is early, but I am sure there are Fall hopefuls out there for 2011.
Anyone out there yet, or am I just overly eager?
NY Cheyla,
I hope this helps you , however I must ask why would you spend your weekend studying and memorizing atomic masses? You will most probably have an atomic chart to work off of and the entire periodic chart is set up very systematically and once you get into Chem you will learn those configurations.Once you know those configurations you can figure out a lot of info on your own with out countless hours of studying such as you have planned now. Spend your time more productively now studying something else in my opinion....Good Luck...
soon2Bmurse,
I guess I am so anxious b/c I have attempted Chem in the past and had to withdraw...however, it was an online class. This time I am taking it on campus, well as a hybrid. The prof has very high reviews on RateMyProfessor. I guess my weekend will be spent just previewing my Chem book and not memorization.
I have also been reviewing my Schaum's Outlines in preparation for AP2. Is there anything that sticks out in your mind as being a challenge in AP2? Is that too far back for you to remember? lol I read lots of posts, but I think I remember your name; you are already in the nursing program, correct? Not that it takes away from any advice you give me. I accept all constructive feedback/advice!
Thanks,
NJ
NY Cheyla,
I am happy to help you in any way I can and yes I am in the program as of this semester. I am not familiar with the Schaums outline for A&P. I had an awesome instructor for both A&P semesters. He gave us a lot of work but I learned a lot. Just go with what the instructor is trying to tell you, that was all I did. I wouldnt have taken Chem in on line class, just me...You'll be fine, maybe relax a bit, the instructors will let you know as you progress what you need to know, just keep up with it...Fell free to PM me if you have specific questions, and good luck....
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am so excited to be starting this new semester! Every day that goes by is one more day that I am closer to my goals!
KNurse, Congrats on your NAT retake...I think you are definitely in with 200+ points.
soon2Bmurse, thanks for your advice, I spent my weekend on more productive things..I did some cleaning and organizing for this semester which I know will pay off later on.

KNurse,You've probably already talked about this, but did you use any resources to study for the NAT?
Also, are you applying for Summer?
JP
77,
No, I didn't study for it. I felt like able to deduce my way through every question, I guess u could say. I think its more about timing than anything. This was my 2nd time taking it so I did much better this time. And not to mention its the same questions every time.
Yes Summer it is:)
Hi rnlesha984,
Welcome to the site...it's really awesome. I have learned so much from reading about other people's experiences.
I am also finishing up this summer. I have Micro left but I hope to apply by June 1st. I am currently taking AP2 and Chem. I plan on taking the NAT right after finishing up these 2 classes...I am really excited!

77for2011,
I go to North campus..I love my professor. She has told us many times that AP2 is more conceptual and less memorization. I have started reviewing for next semester; our prof has the class syllabus and class notes available on the web. I have to stay one step ahead b/c I am also taking Chem next semester and it's very difficult for me. I will be memorizing atomic masses this weekend before class starts. lol
