FSCJ Fall 2014 hopefuls

Hello everyone, I did not see a post for the fall 2014 semester, so I wanted to get it started. I applied to the 2014 summer semester and now I am waiting on my acceptance or denial letter. I am starting this forum just in case i do not get in for the summer. My total score right now is 169.96. I have 97 points for my classes and 72.96 points from the NAT. I am currently taking statistics and humanities, in hope of getting an A in both of them to boost my score up to 178.96. I made a C in A&P 1, my first humanities class and PSY1012. I also made a B in college algebra and that is what got my score down so low. I hope that the low cut off score trend continues to give me a good chance of getting in. The last 3 semesters were 175.96, 187 and 187. I am preparing to retake the NAT in late May to be in time for the June 1st deadline with plenty of time to study for the NAT. I look forward to meeting you all, and hear how things are going for you, so we can encourage and support one another.

My mail doesn't run until like 4:00 pm so I am hoping something has come if not today I am hoping tomorrow because that is when we are suppose to call and accept our seat and let them know we got the packet. I don't know what we are going to do if we don't get nothing tomorrow or Saturday. We are only going to have two weeks at that point to get our stuff turned into the office. Ughh this sucks :( I will see this afternoon when the mail comes.

You will still have time. I know it sucks to have an entire week less than others but it will be okay. The titers are the only thing you really have to wait for. Everything else is a matter of a couple of days. And finding the time to get it done!

Thank you! I just get major anxiety when I know I don't have much time for things and that is great to hear and that is what I am hoping for, for things to go smoothly and no hiccups. I don't work so that makes it easier for me because I will have the time. :)

Spoke to them today and they said the last set of acceptance and denial letters went out this morning. So fingers crossed!

So that should mean by Saturday the latest we should all know hopefully! I feel so nervous!

she said although they've all been mailed out they won't release the cut off score til next week.

Hello everyone, I have been following this post for sometime now. I know you all that have not received your letters just hang in there. I received my rejection letter today. The lowest score that was received is 183.12. However i have seen some with lower scores get an acceptance letter. I was 277/378 applicants of that 144 seats were filled. Hope this helps ya'll out. Now i get to focus on the HESI A2 exam and will reapply for the Spring term. Congratulations to all that received your letters and those that will. Have a great time and enjoy your roller-coaster ride. :)

Yayy!! Thank goodness. So everyone should know by Monday at the latest. Woo hoo!! Now we all can breathe and get to work. So nervous. Wow!! 378 applied?? and only 144 got accepted that is not much. that's scarey. lol I was told by my advisor usually in the fall they take 196 applicants. And that people got in with lower than 183.. Hmm...

Fingers crossed girl! That is weird people got in with lower than that from what others have said on hear. Wonder if that's exactly true or not.

I'm just confused how that is possible. I hope I just calculated wrong by .09 points haha.
