Hello everyone, I did not see a post for the fall 2014 semester, so I wanted to get it started. I applied to the 2014 summer semester and now I am waiting on my acceptance or denial letter. I am starting this forum just in case i do not get in for the summer. My total score right now is 169.96. I have 97 points for my classes and 72.96 points from the NAT. I am currently taking statistics and humanities, in hope of getting an A in both of them to boost my score up to 178.96. I made a C in A&P 1, my first humanities class and PSY1012. I also made a B in college algebra and that is what got my score down so low. I hope that the low cut off score trend continues to give me a good chance of getting in. The last 3 semesters were 175.96, 187 and 187. I am preparing to retake the NAT in late May to be in time for the June 1st deadline with plenty of time to study for the NAT. I look forward to meeting you all, and hear how things are going for you, so we can encourage and support one another.
You can't replace B's, only C's and lower. And yes I took nutrition for those schools, I'm still leaving my options open for them both, especially with fscj being unreliable with getting info out for new rules and regulations efficiently, even though they're going into effect in less than a year..
Hi Lauren, you can replace B's. I replaced my B in college algebra with an A in Statistics and my C in my first humanities class with an A in a different humanities class. I confirmed it with Mrs James and she said they take the highest grade.
Those of you who asked for study material, I just sent you more information to yoyr email address you provided. Sorry it took so long, I have been super busy. I got more coming your way soon. Heads up...I found TONS of good info on Biology and I will try to find some worksheets for practice after I get all the lecture material to you :)
can you change it for an earlier date that way you are coming back before the week of the 25th. I have no idea about orientation and I sadly dont think anyone will have exact date until the letters are sent out unless you can get a hold of someone from the nursing office which seems difficult to do for this time of year
I called the airline and they said that I could move the date, but there would be a 300$ penalty per ticket. Thats way too much money.
1)Is there someone else I could speak with besides Mrs. James?
2) Is orientation only a day or is it multiple days?
3) Is orientation really mandatory?

You just replaced the class with a class you made a higher grade in, not the actual grade of the initial class. I was telling her she couldn't retake the same class she made a B in for a higher grade.
Yeah it sucks that we have to potentially waste the fall semester, if we don't get in, and try to learn a new system that they're not really helping us learn. I got automatic emails from UNF and JU when I was applying to their nursing programs and even though they weren't personal, they were informational and that's what's important.

They take the highest grade you have from the humanities, so as long as you have an A in one, you're fine. Unless they change the rules again.
