Okay here we are!!!!!!
So just went to North Campus Fin Aid, systems down, but I told the girl that my appeal status changed from under review to complete & she said it was prob approved then, and awards should post next week, so fingers crossed she was right. Also, submited all my paper work, physical, background check, etc. Getting excited! Wonder if my orientation packet will come today?
Yeah on my NAT there were quite a few A & P questions, as well as quite a bit of biology. There really wasn't a good study book that I could find, except my old A & P book, which (in most books) in the first few chapters has the majority of the biology you'll probably need to know for the NAT. Good luck!
The $0 on financial aid is stressing me out too. I never received a letter saying that I needed to complete an appeal. With everything else that we have to do to get started, I would like to check this off my list and not worry about it. Hopefully it will post soon since the deadline is Friday!!
Financial aid this time around is a beast...even for trying to take out loans. I believe my appeal was accepted but the 'Awards' is still saying otherwise. I hope that changes. This is turning out to be more stressful than applying for nursing school :)
i was out of town when the letter arrived (and i am still out of town) - but thanks to great neighbors, i found out i was accepted! i am so excited and i can't wait to meet my fellow students! looks like we have a lot to do! congratulations, everyone!
make sure you get your titers done soon. it takes 5-7 business days to get them in and everything has to be in no later than august 10th.
I think the prices at Northside Clinic have gone up just a little bit since last term. I have health insurance, but I called for a friend today and priced everything we need done.Physical - $165
MMR - $30
Varicella - $30
Hep B - $25
TDAP booster - $50
Flu vaccine - $25
PPD - $12
Drug screen - $26
Total - $363
I went to the Northside clinic and paid $223 for everything plus $50 for the 1st shot of 3 for Hep B vaccine since my Hep B titters came out negative!

My Hep B titer came out negative as well. I'm 31 so when I was younger they didn't require the Hep B. I think people who are in their 20's should have gotten it when they where born, unless their parents declined to have them vaccinated. My daughter is 19 months and I know they gave it to her in the hospital.
Did anybody who went to the Northside Clinic for drug testing notice that they didn't ask about current medications? Am I the only one who didn't get asked? I am wondering if my prescriptions are going to monkey it up since they didn't ask me about medications I regularly take....................ugh!
The doctor asked me if I'm on any medications included birth control!!!

no physics. i think maybe like 5 chemistry questions. i don't know if it's random, like if every person gets different questions or not. most of my questions were from anatomy 1 & 2. i was just finishing up anatomy 2 when i took the NAT so it was really helpful.
good luck.
