Does anyone know if it matters if frusmide is further duilted with more WFI. Will it still work? Does the more WFI have an effect on my patient.
Thanks anyone!

I can only assume the OP means "water for injection", based on a google search, but that doesn't make the question any easier to comprehend.
The amount you dilute with has a negligible effect on total serum volume, so after circulation the serum concentration of furosemide would be the same regardless of how you dilute it in the syringe. Is this what you're looking for?

Frusmide?
WFI?
There's no need to dilute Furosemide. Just give it slow so they don't c/o hearing probs.
And, as caffeine said, diluting does nothing to the dose, as long as you still give the whole dose.

Furosemide is the drug name and Lasix is the brand name.
