I got wait listed for class 116. Any experiences with being on a wait list would be helpful. Should I just give up?
Hello all just to give hope I was #7 on wait list for 116 and got accepted, I also know of people further down that got accepted into my class! Don't give up!! There is hope!!!
Marienurse18, funny, but I followed this blog kind of like it was a book, and I did a mental cheer for you when you got in!!!! How are you liking the program? Is there anything you wished you knew before you got started?
Ryan, I emailed over the weekend...just to remind them I'm still here and am still 5. I don't think it's an unreasonable request to know when the accepted have to decide. I'll email again right now! I haven't given up, I would really have liked a solid "yes" to begin with.....but then I wouldn't have appreciated all this distress waiting causes:) It will be so worth it in the end!
Have you applied anywhere else?

Yes, I have applied at Cincinnati, but I won't hear back from them for 6-8 weeks. If I get accepted here, I will accept in a heartbeat. What about you? I know what you mean about getting a solid "yes" to begin with:yes: But I am so excited about the possibility of getting in! I really think you and I will be in for sure, just based off of what I have read in this blog...if not.... Let me know what you hear and if I get any news I will let you know as well.
Ryan that's wonderful! Congrats. I have to take the MAT or GRE to apply for St Joe's of Maine, if I don't get accepted at Frontier. I hope to do that in the next few weeks. I don't believe Cincinnati accepts nurses from Maryland....perhaps I will call there tomorrow just to be certain. For some reason I feel that Frontier is the right fit. It will all work out as it should I'm sure. I just wish I were more peaceful about the whole process!
I hate the idea of the MAT or GRE...don't know why, but I just don't like it!!! I was surprised to hear back so quickly from Cincinnati, the application deadline was October 1st, but I did get my application submitted back in July...maybe that has something to do with it. Why would they not accept applications from nurses in Maryland? I agree with you about frontier...it is still my top choice, but if I don't get in it is very comforting to know I am in somewhere else...One nice thing about Cincinnati is that their Letters of recommendation are all submitted electronically. Besides, Cincinnati is geographically close to you compared to Utah, and Cincinnati does not require you to visit their campus...ever.

Well bennett235, My fingers are now crossed for both of us! Do you know how long before the people who made it have to give their answer? I am just curious when they might start letting us know.
