I got wait listed for class 116. Any experiences with being on a wait list would be helpful. Should I just give up?
I was wait listed for 118, and now am again for 119. I had to call and ask about my number in line so to speak. It seemed to change several times. It was the Friday before 118 was to be at Frontier Bound that I was told I could be put on the wait list for 119, or have my stuff re-reviewed. My only issue with the whole process is that the story seemed to change with each contact. I asked to speak to a member of the selection committee and was unable to do so (not sure why). I still feel Frontier seems like the right fit for me, but I am unimpressed with the waitlist concept. As for my stats I have more than 20 years acute care experience and a recent BSN with a 3.8 average. As of now, I was told last week that the wait list would be sorted in the next few days. My advice, keep in contact with them. I emailed every week. Think I may up that to twice a week to up the contact! Good luck and please stay in touch about what info you have.......hope to see you at FB in November!
I didn't get accepted. I've been an LPN for 8 years, but have only been an RN about 9 months. I wonder if FNU turned me down bc I have less than 1 year RN experience. My GPA is average and I had good references.
Shoot, I have 7 years as an RN, and my BSN GPA was 3.95, my cumulative though was 3.43...Don't give up!
