Friedman Family Assessment

Can anyone please help me w/the Friedman Family Assessment (Short Form)???? I believe that I can do this project w/an example. I just don't have an example right now. I have looked into getting the book "Family Nursing: Research, Theory, and Practice" by M. Friedman, V. Bowden, and E. Jones; no one has the book though. My family assessment paper is due on Wednesday 5/28/08. I've even looked into the libraries about getting the Journal of Family Nursing, Vol. 9, No. 2 which is suppose to have some examples of the short & long forms. UofL's health science library & Jewish Hospital's supposedly have them but I can't get a hold of them until Tuesday w/this being Memorial Day weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I just turned in a Family Assessment using Friedman's model this past Wednesday. I bought Family Nursing: Research, Theory, and Practice (4th Ed) by Marilyn Friedman. The book is kind of old (I ordered it from Amazon Marketplace and paid next to nothing) but it had an excellent example of a family assessment in the back. It even had a transcript of the interview of the family the assessment was based on. It helped me so much!

It might be too late for you to buy the book if it the Assessment is due this Weds, but maybe you can check a library?

i have to fill out the short form of the friedman assessment model and was wondering if anyone has the long form so i can clarify what information goes in the short form categories. let it be know my teacher gave us no guidance on how to use the friedman model so any help would be greatly appreciated. if anyone has the long form i would greatly appreciate if you could post an attachment or contact me.
