I know my studying was stop and go, but one thing I know for sure is I got Infection Control, Safety and Priority down hopefully. I spent good weeks on em. Now, Pharm meh. I test on Friday. Just finished QBank with a 60% completion. Not high, I know. I did some of my tests over. I did my weak areas as "Study Mode"
Yes, Kaplan is hard and sometimes tricky and confusing. One word costs me many questions (infant, elderly, this or that disease...) I ame doing QT4 now and plan on doing 7 tomorrow.I will do em quick with no doubting, but well thought answers. So far, I have gotten 49, 60, 52 on QTs 1-3
What should I do tomorrow?
My plan so far is go over shock, electrolyte Imbalance symptoms, Drugs suffixes, Decision tree, diet and Lab values. I will look at Infection Control Friday Morning before I go.
I feel heavy and stressed now. All my classmates are passing and I feel so behind.
ANy thought is appreciated. Thanks for your support to all (Ujones, Ktie). I will not let you guys down. I promise, but
Doing QT4 and the questions look similar

Friday is D day for me too! I keep thinking I can do this and then the next minute I'm thinking maybe I should have rescheduled. I'm a nervous wreck. I have a job waiting...as long as I pass. I don't want to be a failure and have to wait 90days to retake it.
I don't know about you but tomorrow I won't be doing much studying. I'll probably go over lab values, might do some calculations and drug prefixes. But I'm going to take it easy for most of the day.
Good luck!!!! I'll say a prayer for you!! :-D

If Friday is D Day then I suggest you stop studying and relax. Give your brain a rest

I am trying but I have always been this way. Especially I don't feel confident. I will review some stuff I believe I need to. Lab values, ABGS whit S/S, Shock, and specific highlights on Meds, then diet. Hopefully, it works :typing

Good Luck to all test takers on Jul 31st..................You Will Pass!!!!!
If you can today, try and pay a visit to the center or call that you will be testing at. I did, I wanted to get a feel for the room temperature and ask any last minutes Qs....
Wear layers of clothes for temperature reasons, you can peel off a t-shirt or hoodie if you get to warm...For me if the temperature is uncomfortable, its hard for my brain to adapt and chances for selecting the incorrect answer would have increase. My test center was cold, I'm glad I wore a sweatshirt over my t-shirt. I tested Jul 18th. At my testing center, if you leave for a break, you couldn't bring anything back in not even a jacket or an extra shirt....
Make sure you take all necessary paperwork.....there were people turned away because they didn't have all the documents that were requested.
Finally, relax, pray and believe n YOURSELF

Thank you. My sister knows the area, but my concern is the content. My question. Is the NClex as detailed as Saunders and Kaplan?

Hello everyone i am testing aug 12, i am doing the kaplan right now and oh my gosh i feel soo soo scared. i'm doing trying to do all questions, i am doing the q bank but when i retake the test like using those i got wrong mix with new questions, i still average 60%. i am almost finish with the course book but i don't know if i can remember all i study from the book. those meds in the back ohhhhhhh.
I know all I do about the meds is know them by class and suffices. I also know what is the most important teaching. For example, -cillin, Penicllin, cross allergy with -cef Cephalosporins. I may know some other stuff I don't think I know. Let's hope.
