Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019

I recently applied to several local RN programs, FSU being one of them. Just curious if anyone out there has as well and if you happen to know when we should start finding out if we were accepted. Also any current or alumni, if you don't mind sharing - what were your stats upon entry?

According to a student that works for Fresno State’s nursing department, we should expect to hear results by end of April or beginning of May. The wait time is so long. It’s making me more nervous.

I know I can't hardly stand it, the most agonizing part of the process is just sitting around waiting!

Thank you Niccole23, I think I will retest Teas if I don’t get in either school I apply. They told me Fresno has many fresh food, Fresno state is very good school. The nursing program in Bakersfield also good. But I feel Bakersfield give local students 20points which means I don’t make it. I just don’t have time to study between two crazy semesters ad each semester have about five classes. I started study here two years ago with a little English and one month ESL. So my English score is only 53, I only studied reading part and I was able to get 80 on my A and B sample test( without time limited), but somehow the test day I met one paragraph talking about one kind of bird chimney Swift, which was very hard I spent too much time on it then 10 questions didn’t finish. I didn’t study for math and science. I feel if I spend like one month for English and reading part I will be ok with this Teas test. I retake it in summer and apply next year maybe. I have been working very hard on English and the schools; I don’t want to give up even I really not in good mood. I look many schools now already closed the application for this year. I am praying I get accepted there. ?

Does anyone know what the cost is to attend CSU Fresno’s BSN nursing program?

I haven’t been to any informational meetings and I haven’t been able to find anywhere online about the breakdown cost of the program. Thanks for any insights into this!

Maybe the nursing program tuition follows the university? Here is the university fee. I saw one post from 2018 here that says about 3500 to 4500 per semester, and she buy many books in the beginning.

Yea so based off of a previous thread just as Struggle said, it will be about 20-25k for the program is what I am calculating.

Am I the only one feeling impatient and super anxious while waiting to hear the results? I didn’t apply to any other nursing program so if I don’t get in, I’ll try again next year. I’m not in a rush since I’ll be due in early August.

No! The anxiety and impatience grows with every day that passes lol. Congratulations on your impending arrival, I just had my third back in October.
