Fresno State Nursing (BSN) Fall 2018

Hey everyone!

I didn't see any forums for Fresno State Fall 2018 and so I decided to create one myself.

I applied for Fresno State's program as a transfer for the upcoming fall semester.

Here are my stats:

Prereqs: All A's except one B (chem)

TEAS: 82%

Volunteer hours and some scribing hours

Anyone else applied and know when they will be getting back to us? Has anyone heard about last year's admissions? Thanks in advance!

Following this thread after I got my "alternate list" email :drowning: 'm so bummed they won't tell us about our ranking on the list. I can't bare the waiting anymore...

NancyJay, what did you apply with? I called and they said that there are 15 spots on the alternate list

Congrats guys! I wasn't picked :( I applied with 3.62 GPA and 87.8% on my teas.

How did you know you didn't get picked? Did they send you an email as well?

I'm wondering if they went by holistic review or by GPA? I hope we both get in. Do you guys have social media by any chance? It'll be easier to keep in touch

How did you know you didn't get picked? Did they send you an email as well?

I got an email saying I didn't meet one of the requirements or was not picked at all for the program.

I'm assuming your 3.8 was overal? So you had a 4.0 for pre req gpa?

I'm in the same boat as you.. alternatives list. 3.88 GPA, 82 on the TEAS

3.8 overall or prerequisite gpa?

@kittenmeRN Im on FB !í ½í¹ƒ Im on the Fresno state book club. Is there a way to PM on this thing? About the evaluations... I asked a while ago they told me they were doing a holistic view WITH interviews and written exam but judging by some people already having denials I don't know anymore

When i called about my GPA they calculated they gave me a lower number than what my college has on my transcripts...

Yes a 3.88 for a pre requisite GPA
