have a wonderful life! :wink2:

*Lol*

I experienced some of that unpredictable Indian cuisine while I was in Tucson-- aptly put. I spent several months in India and I've never found anything remotely close to Indian food anywhere outside that country. But I keep trying...

It's raining- again! I could go out and splash in the mud puddles or swim with sharks, but I'm not in the mood!

I am starting to think my mood is affecting the weather- yesterday was the only sunny day that we've had here since returning from Tucson. I thought about flying back to AZ to get some sunshine! Ha ha!

Cruel, cruel reality.

I will take your advice, GF-- the weekend will fly by, it always does.

Sigh...

Oy, which means they are using bulk service campus mail to send out the letters, which will add 1-2 days to the delivery time. Essentially, the CON has its mail processed through a centralized campus postal system, where it is metered and then sent out. So figure an extra 1-2 days because of this, depending on how fast (or slow) the processing is.

As for the weekend, do something rigorously physical outdoors with a ton of sun exposure. You'll tire yourself out and crash from exhaustion. You'll wake up on Monday with the letter....unless you live in freezing Chicago. In that case, enjoy the good Italian and Polish cuisine, 'cause there 'aint neither of these in Tucson. It's "American," Mexican, and unpredictable Indian throughout Tucson.....

I think they said this last year. Last year acceptances went out by email on the Friday before spring break and rejection letters arrived a couple days into spring break, via old-fashioned regular mail.

I wish they were sending emails this year. I called the CON of nursing yesterday to confirm-- there will be no emails. All denial and acceptance letters are snail mail this year, like GF said.

Nothing in todays mail either...it bothers me that this crazy letter is "somewhere" in the vicinity of my house...and has been for a few days now! Hang in there everyone!!

Ok.. this is my first post to this thread. I interviewed for the ABSN program on Feb 21 and I am anxiously awaiting the decision...well, just checked my email and got an invitation to attend an information session at the Yuma campus...is this a bad sign???

Hmmm...I have not heard anything about that. Were you interested in the Yuma program at all??

No...the email came from UA CON. Did anyone else get this email?

I did not get that email... I may call and ask them if I were you. Welcome to the "Anxious posting board!!" We are all going a little crazy here! :coollook::chuckle

Maybe it was only sent to the ones that didn't get accepted :bluecry1:

Oh I wouldn't jump to that conclusion! The people at the CON seem a bit undecided about many things lately...it could be ANYTHING! Keep your chin up and fingers crossed! I am rooting for you!

Thanks!! Just REALLY nervous b/c don't have any back-up plan! Good luck!

I just checked my email and also received that Yuma accelerated info.. okkk...now I'm a lil scared :( :scrying:
