Freaking out over NCLEX test results

I took my test Friday at 8am, its supposed to be 48 hours until you get results....is that BUSINESS days or days? The computer shut off after 85 questions.....I just don't think I did well and these are THE LONGEST hours of my life.

Hi. It is 48 business hours, but I think they must count Saturday because I was able to get my results on a Saturday after taking it on a Thursday morning. I would check tomorrow and Sunday just to check (I know I kept checking), but you might have to wait until Monday. Good luck.

Yep, it's business hours. That's why I took mine on a Tuesday, didn't want to wait any longer than necessary! Good luck!

I took mine on a Friday and got results on a Sunday...don't know if I was just lucky or if they regularly post results during non-business hours.

From what I've heard from classmates...everyone that had 85 questions passed! The theory is if you are doing good and already passed the correct % of questions by 85 then you already qualified to pass, so it shuts off....however some random people (myth is 1 out of 100) have to take all 205. But by all of our students, at 85 you should be good.

It's a myth...if you get so-many questions wrong, it will shut off as well, it will only keep going for so-long.

Just remember, people have passed AND failed at all numbers of questions.

still nothing. *sigh* why'd they have to say my job might not be held if i didn't pass the day BEFORE i took the test?? my stress level is thru the roof. :cry:

i also took it friday. when i shut off at 85 i was n shock, i got so wrapped up in it i didnt know what i had reached that far. dont feel bad about freakin out because everyone freaks out, and i know you are tired of constantly being asked about your results. i had to work friday night and they were already asking me about results which i think is just insane because they are all older nurses and should be familliar with the result turn-a-round times:banghead:

scp7spn, it is torture waiting for results isn't it? i'm afraid to look tomorrow at work to see if i passed or not. good luck to you.....

I hope you passed. I took mine today. Over here in AZ the lowest cut off is 75 and most is 265, Well mine shut off at 75 Im so nervous. I was just praying I wouldnt get the most because my friend that I study with got the whole 265!! I cant wait to see if you passed. :up:
