Freaking out. . . NCLEX stopped at 85

I just don't know what to do with myself. I took the NCLEX-PN today and it stopped at 85. When I got home I looked up some answers to a few of the questions and I know I got at least 6 or 7 of them wrong and about 6 or 7 that I know I got right which 3 of those were calc questions. I'm trying to keep the faith that I passed, but it is really hard. I've heard of some that pass at 85 and some that fail at 85 and I know the # of quest is just the #. I would at least think that they would've given me a chance to answer a few more questions if I was getting some wrong and I would hate to believe that I was doing just that bad to stop soooooo early! Well, waiting patiently (at least trying to) for quick results in 48 hours.

It's true some do fail at 85 but it seems that much more pass than fail with 85 questions. I had 85 and passed and was so scared I failed. The waiting is not fun but at least its only 48 hours. I am going to bet you PASSED :)

I and just about all of my friends took and Passed the Nclex with 85 questions!!!

Well I wish you the best of luck! That is awsome that you only have to wait 48 hours. I took my test on 12-12 and i still haven't heard anything. You will most likely get you results before me.

Me too and I don't personally know anyone that failed at 85. Fingers crossed. :)

i just posted the same thing yesterday. i was so scared of not passing when my screen turned blue after 85 questions. it seemed like all the questions were so hard, i could not possibly answer correctly. however, i got my results today and passed. i think everyone is right, if it shuts off at 85 most likely you passed. but i know you will not be happy until u know for sure. So Good Luck!!!!

CONGRATS NEW NURSE!!!!!! :balloons::w00t::monkeydance: When did you take your exam? My results still aren't up yet and I'm trying to wait ever so patiently, but it's really not working. I barely got any sleep last night and can't wait to go home and get in my bed. One of my classmates passed with 85 quest, one other passed with 205 quest and one failed with 200 quest. So I don't know what to think at this point. I know that the # is only the # and I have to keep my FAITH in GOD that he helped me pull through it.

I passed with 85 questions too. I think all of my classmates also stopped at 85, we had a 100% pass rate that year :-)

Good luck!

Way to Go ! You are now on your way ~~:balloons:

Just a question here as we r on the topic of NCLEX, why is the NCLEX-PN a different # of questions for everybody. Why isn't it the same # of questions? Isn't that unfair?
