I love that show, too. For a while they were doing episodes in the US, too. But you are right, that kind of stuff will make my stomach turn every time! I think the worst was today's episode where the young guy used his DIRTY SOCKS to "clean" his dishes. Billions of bacteria on the sock where the high end of normal is 300,000. Ugh! Worse yet, how can people do that to their kids? Blech, think I'll go clean something now....
i've seen that show , it turns my stomach that people actaully live like that....i like those 2 english ladies aggie and ??? is it kim?? ugh i can't remember the other ladie's name.. but i can't eat during that either.... it's a wonder that some of those people don't have their kids taken away fromt living in those horrific conditions.... i do like those 2 ladies they are so much fun to watch.... i use to watch the 2 fat ladies cooking show until one of them died... i love those english shows...
it should have a warning at the begining of that show " donot eat during this show" ... maybe we could go on the " how clean is your house diet? lol...

It is a well known fact that nurses have a stomach of steal. Eating ravioli and watching a heart transplant.. no problem. You get the picture.
Well one day I came home from an overnight shift and started eating
spaghetti for breakfast. I like to watch a show that I taped called
How clean is your House?. It is on BBC. It is about nasty houses with baked on greasy nasty dirt that have not been cleaned in years. You get up close and personal with the grime on your televsion screen. (Not like the show where it is just messy) I Love it.
Well I start to play the show and nestle down on the couch for a good watch before I go to bed. For the first time ever I barely could eat what I was eating.
When I realized my mild nausea setting in I realized what others feel like when talking about bodily functions.
I giggled at myself and decided I would share my experience with allnurses.
