Has anyone tried the service LoginForMe? I signed up last month and LOVE it. They do all my check-ins. I still check in myself but I don't have to worry if I ever miss a call. They even take a screenshot of the logins!!!! Totally worth it. I missed two calls last month and am just WAITING for my monitor to contact me...... I just forgot but I wasn't tested thank goodness.
what shows up more and more? heck I just registered and noticed the firstlab and that's what I've been doing. Just trying to help. I learned about it in my nurse support group. Heck if it helps me, and other nurses in my group, why not share the wealth! If it's showing up on here more and more that means others use it too! :-)
Justin...welcome to the site. I don't mean to be skeptical but why the plug? This seems to be showing up here more and more...I'd hate to see anyone try to take advantage of people who are already stressed and frightened...just saying...
I agree with you Twoyearnurse. I have been a member here since 2006 and we do get spammy type posts for these "services" very often. I still can't imagine in my wildest dreams missing more than one call in in a month. I was monitored for SIX YEARS and missed one on a Sunday during my first year. That was when I found out my testing site wasn't open on weekends even though I was required to call in 365 days a year.
The sad thing for me is that I finished probation but now my job history looks bad and no one will hire me.
Anyway, I am suspicious of the plug myself.

By the way, when I missed the one call in in six years, I called my monitor immediately and left a voicemail even though it was on a Sunday.
I do not recommend "just WAITING" for a monitor to contact you if you may have screwed up. That is the behavior of an addict, not a person in recovery.
Sorry to sound harsh. I am not saying that you are an active addict, but this is addictive behavior and is unwise if you value your career and your recovery.

I agree there's always paranoia when it comes to this horrible probation. But how is my post spam? I missed two calls, I expressed my concerns to members in my support group, some other members use the service and said they love it and haven't had to worry about calling in or missing calls anymore, so I gave it a try and love it. No harm simply trying to help others who are in the same situation as I am. You may not be able to imagine missing a call, but it happened to me and from what I hear in group it happens all the time to others. I didn't say missing a TEST, I'm only talking about forgetting to call in to see if I was selected or not.

I just forgot to call in. Both were on Sundays. Thanks for assuming that I'm an addict when you don't even know my situation. One DUI - wasn't driving. Had my truck keys in my pocket when I was sleeping in the passenger seat of my truck. Didn't plan on driving and was waiting for roommate to came to pick me up. Got DUI because I had the keys in my possession. In diversion now because of it. If that's an addict, then so be it. Wow - 6 years? I would have just surrendered my license. That's nuts.

I call every morning at 0400. and if I sleep thru I do it as soon as I get up. I am too paranoid not to call. But I did forget one Sunday. It was my first week of testing. But we do not do screens on Sundays. Just Mon-Sat. So I am not sure we are actually suppost to call on Sunday. But I do anyways. I am a little over a month on my probation too.
Yesterday I called and I was selected. The place I go test at is open til 1900. Well I got there a little after 1800. And they told me they stopped doing tests at 1700. And I could find no place to do a test at.
I called my probation monitor lady last night and I called her 3 times this am until she answere. I have had no sleep bc I was so worried about it. she was nice about it and said well now you know there policies and I think they do the cut off times to allow people 2 hours to build up urine to urinate. I was like oh. okay. and she said she would write it down as a unexcused test. whatevet that meant. To hell with this drives me insane. Feel I will have a nervous breakdown soon. Just call you monitor sponsor and good luck.
