Where did you train? What type of training do you have? What is your area of specialty?
You need to answer these questions to get a more accurate answer.

If you can answer Suzanne4's questions then maybe someone will be able to give you an adequate advise, also, check the links silverdragon102 posted.
What is a PIN number?

A PIN (personal idrentification number) which all nurses in UK have, to say you are registered with the NMC, If you have no PIN number you can not practice as a nurse and every 3 years nurses are required to re register and pay inorder to practice. A portfolio is also needed as the NMC can ask to see it and if you have not done one then you are not allowed to register.
If you cannot find your PIN you will need to contact the nmc. You will not get any work without it or some sort of proof that you have one. Also if your looking for hospitals have a look on the nursing times website and they have a good selection of jobs, but a lot depends on where you want to live. http://www.nursingtimes.net

There are lots of links in the UK nursing resources sticky.
Thanks for the update, hadn't heard of that before. :balloons:
yes i have had 3 months of intensive training in dialysis in the philippines. so do i fall under the general nursing category? i read the link and they require 6 months of experience. does it have to be in a hospital setting? and i also wonder if 3 years of nursing school count as training.

Most agencies are going to require that you have at least six months experience in a hopsital setting. Foreign nurses are usually required to precept under an RN in the UK before being granted their own license.
You have had the training, but do you have actual work experience on your own in it? Getting the training and actually working and getting paid for it are two different things, at least to most companies.
You will be starting off as a new grad if you can find a position. I suggest that you look at some of the links that are already posted here.
Good luck.................
