Hi, im not sure if this is the right forum for this but I just want to ask those people who didnt pass the nclex, what kind of job can we apply to with our bachelor's degree. Ive tried applying as a nursing assistance or patient care technician in my area, but they require a certificate for that. I was thinking of taking ekg training or something just so I can get a job at a hospital. Any advice would be appreciated. thank you

Hello, You can challenge the test to be certified nursing assistant, best thing for you to do is to contact the board and ask them about it. I did challenge my CNA test and passed while waiting for my ATT last year, and took the nclex and passed.

@SirMiggy, I understand your frustration because I have taken the NCLEX twice so far and have been studying for the past 6 months approximately 15 hrs a day 7 days a week. It's exhausting, I know. But each time I know I'm just one step closer. I will retest every 45 days if I have to but I did not dedicate 4 yrs of my life to settle for less. So I ask you to do the same. Please, don't delay your dream and efforts; don't put them aside. If you are facing a financial crisis, employment is a good option. But I don't think you should take a break from NCLEX. I think you should keep retaking it each time with even more enthusiasm, confidence, and determination. That way all of the information that you have retained up to this point is still fresh and crisp in your frontal lobe. As Winston Churchill once said, "When going through hell, just keep going." You can do it!!!

yhup.. what they say is true, dont give up... i failed my nclex rn twice, first i took it for granted, second time i took it.. i was busy working. and now i cannot take my rn exam because BON wants me to go back to school to take my deficiencies ( foreign student problem)... i regret the time that i had the privilege to take the exam for rn but didnt do my best... if i were to fail 4-5x or more as long as my ATT is valid its worth retaking the exam and try harder.. now im up for Lpn exam so hopefully i eill pass this and il make sure to pass before my att expires il keep retaking even if i fail . Goodluck to us and keep fighting God wont give us these triumphs for no reason...i still believe il get my license one day
really inspiring tnx

I took a break and got a job after failing multiple times with the same reasons, in the end I regret coz it took so much time away from studying and focusing. And once you get your paycheck you might feel content or get stuck with it. But thats me.
i just really need to find a job right now, what do you guys suggest. thank you
