Has anyone ever taken FON 241 at Rio Salado? Is it hard? Are the proctored tests hard? I am re-taking this class for a better grade. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Yes, I took it this past summer. It wasn't that bad, just a lot of assignments but I think that is how most online classes are. You have to go in person to do the midterm and final. I don't remember who I took the class with, but it was a female instructor. I would recommend that you do your assignments exactly how they explain it to you in the syllabus and examples in the emails they send. It helps sooo much. If I remember right, there were a lot of case studies that you had to do. You would have to explain what should be done/is wrong in the scenarios. It was a pain in the butt to do this class because of all the writing, but glad I don't have to take it again lol.

I had no idea that this class' midterm and final exams are to be taken at the Testing Center, I thought they were at-home exams! I will be taking this class on March with BIO201 and SOC101. Do you think this will be a good idea? Also, is FON241LL required?

I'm starting this class next week. I'm nervous because I need an A in the class. I am used to classes with a lot of writing. However, I'm nervous about the proctored midterm and final.

I am extremely nervous too! I also need to ace an A in this course as a pre-requisite course of ASU's BSN program.

So far the class is going okay. I'm nervous about the midterm and final. Everything else is fine - just A LOT of writing!!!

I am currently taking FON 241 through Chandler Gilbert and everything is online. Why don't you look into it? So far the class is pretty easy, well if you compar to like an anatomy or micro persay.

I would stay away from Rio unless its your only option, Seriously I just hate that school's format of classes!

Some schools require FON 241 LL so check out the program you are applying to so you can be sure if you need it or not.

I am taking Micro through Rio and the mid and final are proctored, I am taking the final next week EEK ! Proctored exams are hard, especially through Rio b/c there is no study guide you have to know EVERYTHING :scrying:

I already started at Rio Salado. All of the other classes (at other schools) were full by the time that I signed up. Rio Salado was the only school that had openings. I HAVE to have the class done this semester. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!
