  1. Yes, I took it this past summer. It wasn't that bad, just a lot of assignments but I think that is how most online classes are. You have to go in person to do the midterm and final. I don't remember who I took the class with, but it was a female instructor. I would recommend that you do your assignments exactly how they explain it to you in the syllabus and examples in the emails they send. It helps sooo much. If I remember right, there were a lot of case studies that you had to do. You would have to explain what should be done/is wrong in the scenarios. It was a pain in the butt to do this class because of all the writing, but glad I don't have to take it again lol.
  2. Did my class at Phoenix College and had no problems with it.
  3. Did the background and already got my results back as well as my level 1 card. It was pretty easy. It took about 2 days and they check everything. I just printed out the results and just need to go flash it at an adviser lol
  4. I got placed at GWCC/NAU traditional program and I start in 01/2012. I got an email saying lectures would be Monday and Tuesday evenings like 5-9:30pm and clinicals either Friday or Saturday. Not sure what my time stamp time is cause it doesn't show it on the page anymore for me but the date was 12/2010. I sent in the application for the concurrent program in July and they let me know last month I would be getting placed. I heard that they place you sooner if you do that program. Must be since I haven't even waited a year.
  5. Gabby you will only be able to do financial aid at 1 school at a time. I'm going to GWCC in January and applying there. Any left over financial aid, i will use that to pay for the NAU class. That's what I'm doing this semester. I'm taking a class at Phoenix College (a just for fun class lol) and using left over aid to pay for nur330.
  6. Hi. I'm also taking the class at the extended campus. Stephanie will enroll you only if you need to for financial reasons. I wanted to know also so I can do the payment plan. They will be enrolling us soon..keep an eye on your louie. I bought my books from a girl who already took the class in the summer. I found her on Craigslist lol. She said the class is easy.
  7. My time stamp was in 12/10. Not sure what date but under a year. I got placed at Gateway CC traditional and start 01/2012. I was hoping for part-time at GWCC but not sure if its because I'm doing the NAU concurrent program that we have to do full time? Anyone do their classes at GWCC? How is the schedule? What time/day were lecture? Just want to know cause I'm working at the moment.
  8. Think the GPA needs to be above 3.0.
  9. You might have to call the school to ask because the requirements might be different and some credits might not transfer. There are a bunch of new requirements that they have just added as of September 2011. Like getting a background check and Level one Fingerprint card.
  10. Good question because I am also going to be working full time and going to Gateway in Spring 2012. I will keep that in mind that I might have to go part-time in block 3.
  11. Sweet. How is NUR330? Lots of work? lol
  12. I got an acceptance letter Saturday :) It said to enroll into NAU to do the NUR330 class and will being doing the Nursing Program at Gateway Spring 2012! This is a great program:yeah:
  13. Just coming back to update. I got an email on Saturday and it told me: Congrats you have been accepted into the program! I'm kind of shocked cause I haven't even been on the waiting list that long. My date/time stamp was Dec 2010. I just need to send my transcripts to NAU, which I did today so I can be enrolled into NUR330 for the Fall. They told me I will be taking that class at the extended campus on 1-17/Greenway. I also got a letter saying that I'm going to be doing the Nursing Program at Gateway Spring 2012. I needed the part time one because of work. I'm looking forward to meeting anyone else who is on this board who is taking the class NUR330 this fall! Still shocked cause I was thinking I had a 2yr or more wait, but the sooner the better lol
  14. Yeah, I finally got some answers. I'm attending one of the transfer days that is listed on the status page on maricopa's website. Please update us to let us know how that NUR330 class is. I might be taking it in the Fall. Thanks! Also thanks everyone else!
  15. I'm on the waiting list to get into the nursing program. The one where you get a date/time stamp.
