I've seen this book suggested on here a few times, and I plan on purchasing it because I didn't do too hot on my electrolytes and acid/base exam yesterday.
My question is, does this book cover acid/base, for those that might own it? Or is there a "Made Incredibly Easy" book for acid/base stuff? Or another very helpful book on acid/base that you might suggest?
Thanks,
-J

I bought the 3rd edition at www.half.com for under $5.
They cover acid/base on the following pages: age-related factors pg 44, assessing pg 40, potassium's role pg 105i, regulating pg 47-48, 198. Acid base imbalances 197-223, compensatory mechanisms for 45-46, 47-48, 198, diagnosing 46-49, 197-198.
Good luck! I loved half.com for older editions at great prices.
Thank you so much for the info!
I'm off to purchase the book.

You might want to check out the Fluid and Elec. from the reviews and rationale series. The CD is fantastic and the 20 some odd questions in chapter are really good too. Not to mention I think the Incredibly series doesnt really offer in depth rationales to things (I do like the series just not as primary source of info).

You can go onto a site like Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble and look up the book. For most of these books there is a link to look at the Table of Contents of the book so you get an idea of what they cover.
