Hello I was wondering does anyone know if Florida hospital or ORMC pay fo you to go back to school? I mean example say I am a CNA and I decide I would like to get my LPN or RN degree. Do they have programs like that? And if so how do they usually work, do you have to go to the school of their choice?

If anyone has any info on this I would apprecite it.

Hi Jenn .... Florida Hospital is a part of the Adventist Health System. They offer tuition assistance for school, but you are required to be employed for one year before you are eligible for this assistance. You might want to contact the Human Resource Department to find out the specifics ... also check out their web site.

I am quite sure that both ORMC & FL. Hosp. offer tuition asst. For most places it is offered after a year of working for them and there will be an agreement that you work for them for about 24 months. I have heard of good and bad experiences regarding working for the Hosp. after you have completed school, but for the most part i think it depends on the Hosp. rating, nurse patiient ratio etc. I have heard only good things about Fl. Hosp. and from what I saw when i was there for my clinical it seem like a very good learning enviorment. Also I really don't think you have to go to a school of there choice as long as it is accredited in the state of fl.
