Does Anyone Here Knows, How Long Will It Take To Receive The Nclex Eligibility In Florida?

I'm Ready To Send My Application This Week, And I Would Like To Know What's The Time Frame So I Can Schedule Everything Including My Formal Review. Thanks In Advance.

Yes, all were original copies(TOR,Proof of Graduation-Diploma only certified true copy,Course Description, Breakdown of Educational Program for International Nursing Programs,Nursing License Verification from PRC-optional) sent directly by the school to the evaluator.

As soon as i knew that they already received the documents from the school, that's the time i submitted my application with fee, and from this date, 10 working days evaluation was done.

A follow up efforts will help too like emailing them for the status of the request for evaluation.

Bloodytom, be sure to use a reliable courier in sending the documents and the application, though it cost much but you should have a reference number for making a follow up.

hi there! Can I ask some questions? I'm interested to know about the "course description". I understand that this is in the form of a handbook/syllabus, am I right? It's not required by other evaluating agencies (only the TOR with RLE) but did you have to submit one? should it be certified also?

how about the "Breakdown of Educational Program"? did you download this form or did the evaluator give you a form that your school can use?

for FL bon, did you show proof of passing an English profiency exam (IELTS/TOEFL)?

thanks, shiina.

did you send the course description with the other documents? i thought theyre just going to ask for it if needed. and when you say course description, is it just for all the nursing subjects? or for the whole nursing course including the minor subjects?

how did they tell you that they already received your credentials? im just wondring 'cause you said that's the time you submitted the application with fee. and i suppose they dont know your email yet then.

ABOUT THE COURSE DESCRIPTION, BREAKDOWN OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM,IT'S MY SCHOOL WHO SENT THIS DOCUMENTS TO THE EVALUATING AGENCY.I ONLY RECEIVED EVERY COPY OF WHAT THE SCHOOL HAVE SENT TO THE AGENCY AS PER MY REQUEST, THAT I PAID TOO.

ABOUT THE ENGLISH PROFECIENCY EXAM,I MADE AN INQUIRY IF I NEEDED THIS TOO,SO FAR,THE RESPONSE WAS NO.

ABOUT THE COURSE DESCRIPTION,ONLY FOR THE MAJOR NURSING SUBJECTS, AND IT WAS THE SCHOOL WHO SENT THIS TOO.

I FOLLOWED UP THROUGH EMAIL, AND LONG DISTANCE CALL, THE AGENCY CONFIRMED THEY ALREADY RECEIVED THE SCHOOL CREDENTIALS, THEN THAT'S THE TIME I SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION WITH FEE.

THE REASON ABOUT MY FOLLOW UP? THE SCHOOL NOTIFIED ME THEY SENT ALL MY CREDENTIALS TO THE AGENCY LAST JUNE 8, AND I WAS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE ON MY VERIFICATION.

IT TAKES SO MUCH EFFORT TO DO THINGS LIKE THIS BUT I HAVE TO.

AT THIS TIME,I HAVE NO CONFIRMATION YET FROM FLORIDA BON IF THEY GOT ALREADY MY EVALUATION, SO SAME SCENARIO, I HAVE TO CHECK WITH THEM.

ok, thanks

i thought there was some form i missed to download. so far i have only sent my transcripts, number of hours/units of major nursing subjs and clinicals, diploma and cert of graduation. i havent requested for the course description yet since it's written in their site not to send it, they'll just request for it.

i dont know if my school has this breakdown of international education programme form since most of my schoolmates who requested for their documents already have this form that the registrar will just fill up. i guess i'll just ask them...

thanks for sharing and i hope you let us know when you receive your ATT so we'll have idea how long it will take.

thanks! good luck!

Hello everyone!!!

i received a letter from the Board stating that my application is incomplete!!!!

" upon review of your file, it has been determined that the following information is incomplete:

Your file has been forwarded to our review staff. please allow 14 days for a response. please ensure that the deficienceis listed above are forwarded to the address below..... etc. etc.

i don't know yet what are my deficiencies!!! i hope they'll send it to me at once so that i can process them as soon as possible.

i am anxious again because of this. does anyone experienced the same thing? does anyone know or can share what usually are the common deficiencies encountered?:(

hoping for your response.

thank you so much!!!

Does anybody know how long it typically takes for foreign educated nurses to get their ATT from Texas BON? It's been a month now since I submitted my application but I still haven't heard from them.

Sorry Tabby75, as you can see I'm a step behind you in the processing of my application but I'm anxious to know what they're requesting from you since I might be in the same situation pretty soon. How long did it take FL board to get back to you? Does a long application processing mean bad news?

It says the missing thing is "listed above" - but nothing there? that is weird.

Shiina,

Did you get your ATT? It took for me three weeks to receive a letter from FL bon that i am elligible to take NCLEX-RN. Also that letter is your temp. grad nurse permit for 6 month from the date on the letter. The FL bon also submit ellectronically to pearson your elligibility and pearson emails you ATT. (if you have registered on pearson online and put your email address). If they dont have your email, they will mail you the ATT.

FYI: you should receive your ATT (if by email) within 48 hours from the date on your elligibility letter. If you dont, call pearson. Sometimes the system gets down, and pearson submits a requests to BONs to submit the elligiblity information mannually. That is what happened in my case. In overall, my application for NCLEX-RN was received by FL bon on July 8, 2006, and on August 8, 2006 I already took the NCLEX. On August 10, 2006 I saw my license was issued on FL bon web site. (before my quick result was available)

So, when I read about other cases with FL bon, sometimes I think that I am really lucky. i was pretty much satisfied with them.

Let me know if you have any questions.

it will usually take several months before you'll be eligible to write nclex. im not sure how long exactly does it take for texas board of nursing to process your application but one month can be very fast. you can call them if they have already received your application and if they have, then the only thing for you to do is wait. maybe a follow-up call after a month or so to check if you have any deficiencies. but i believe they will try to contact you regarding that.

exactly one month and 12 days after filling my application to Florida BOn, i received their letter. Although it says there that i have deficiencies, it was not listed above. instead it says "we have forwarded your file to the review staff, pls. give 14 days for their response."

so i guess, i will have to wait for another letter, hoping that my deficiencies would be specified clearly.

thank you for all your responses.
