Didn't see this topic posted, so posting now! Trying to see who's applying for FIU's CRNA program since the application window is opening soon!

mannn, I wish it could be lower, FIU is my top choice.

on May 9, they have afternoon session only, so it will be only 3 hrs for that day. 

so it will be 60 seats, if we do the math.

I thought about this, and then I wondered if they are doing multiple interviews at once ?

it could be, since someone from previous cohort said they interviewed 139 people for 45 seats.

I doubt they would do multiple interviews at once to be honest but of course we never know. Maybe they had more interview days in the previous years

Just got my interview email this morning at 0642 San Diego time. I applied 1 day before the application deadline 3/31. Cutting it close I know. 

I'm not sure if everyone's email said the same thing (can anyone confirm this?)

however my email stated " the FIU anesthesiology nursing program admissions committee has completed the first phase of the admissions cycle and selection process for applicants for the class of 2026.”

and then went on to say the dates and times available. 

It gave me the same dates and time frames as everyone stated on here. 

May 8th (afternoon session)

May 9th (afternoon session

May 15th (morning and afternoon) 

 

it says the morning times are from 9-12 and afternoon is 1-5

 

Here is the link that I got in march from the program and watched. This is what I assume is the video they're going to be sending out. The previous link I couldn't open hope this works.

For me, May 8 has morning and afternoon sessions.

Hi! So far it's OK. Really not as difficult as I thought (lots of reading) but we've made up a good system for dividing it amongst some of my classmates. It's pretty much busywork classes at this point—research, basic patho/pharm. patho and pharm are interesting but they're not focused towards anesthesia at all, so IDK how helpful they're going to be in the future. Right now it's all online but next semester we already start going on campus, once a week.

Did the email say the interview process was complete ? Having a mini panic attack.

The e-mail I received didn't say anything about it being complete. I think they are still reviewing and sending out invites
