140 interviews?? For 45 spots? Where did we get that number I thought they only interviewed ~75

In the information video they sent, it says they interviewed about 140 last year. I'm not sure if it will be the same amount this year

Hi guys, congrats on your interview invites! I can confirm that last year they had a total of 194 applicants, of which they interviewed 136 for 45 spots. Our interview was not bad at all; definitely more personality questions than anything. However, I'm unsure how this will change with the GRE not being considered this year. Good luck!

Did anyone that received an interview invite apply closer to the deadline?

A friend of mine did yesterday. I think she submitted like a couple days right before the deadline

Hi, I think last year we did not hear back until late April, the interviews were done throughout May. Final decision was sent back to us late May (about a month after we heard about interviews).

I have a few questions. am I able to contact you outside of here?

If you guys had the choice, would you choose FIU or UM. Without the $$ consideration

If money isn't an issue and one would be accepted to both, I would go UM.

Good question honestly. Statistically they have the same passing rates. So I guess UM cause I toured the nursing building and operating room suites and everything is a lot nicer and newer.

If money wasn't an issue, I would choose UM. Every CRNA that I met that went to UM raves about it. It's just the tuition is so much more expensive compared to FIU's ?

I thought FIU has way lower attrition rate compared to UM, so I thought FIU was way better.
