Florida Hospital Graduate Nurse Program - September/October Start Date

Hi! Is anyone else a new grad applying for the September/October start date for FL Hospital's GN program? I graduated earlier in July and now I'm just waiting until they open the application so I can go ahead and apply.

Has anyone heard how many new grads they usually hire in ICU? That's the area I'm really hoping to get an interview in.

How long did it take to get your acceptance email?

I waited the whole day but nothing came through. Hopefully I'll it Monday or Tuesday. I don't want to tell my family until I have the official offer. Can anyone suggest a good area to live in near Altamonte?

Hi all,

I interviewed for Florida Hospital's South location (orlando) for the EDNIP program Aug 18th. Got the call i was hired 2 days later.

Anyone else get hired for EDNIP at South?

Congrats everyone! I went through the rounds for this GN program but ultimately turned FH down and went with Orlando Health. I'm excited to get started in this new career and I wish you all the best as well!

I have a sensitive question for everyone. I'm filling out the new hire info and it asks for religion. I'm an atheist admittedly and don't mind working for a religious based organization. It would be impossible to get away from it in healthcare. What has everyone else put down? I thought about putting down no answer or other. I thought it was illegal to ask about your religion?
