Hi Everyone, thinking about doing the NCLEX in Florida. What do I need to know about the Florida BON. I am from New York. I like it here and may move here in the near future. Thank You.

Hi Rextar, I am sorry to hear about you not passing the NCLEX. I know it feel like the end of the world but it is not. Here in New York you can talk the NCLEX until you pass but you have to wait 45 days to retake. Call the New York BON and they will give you additional informationthat you need. I hope this helps. Would you happen to know if I could take the nclex pn in NY if i failed 3x in florida? Or i will not be able to take in NY i have to do the refresher course no matter what state? Plus I am moving now to PA so i doubt i will be able to take anything in Florida now? i'm so confused i don't know what to do, or just give up, i can't find anything online on information about this. Please help if you know anything thank you!

Why not take a refresher or prep class? You've already paid $600 in NCLEX fees plus application fees and will have to pay another $200 to retest and ~$200 to apply to NY or PA. You need help if what you are doing hasn't worked yet. Go to PA board of nursing and look at the requirements for an LPN license by examination.
