Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.
I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!
My stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
GPA: 3.96
TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%
Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!
Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!
Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!
I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!
No I'm still missing my flu shot as well. I don't think we are able to sign up for classes until after the deadline for the complio requirements on the 25th. Apparently they want to make sure we are cleared and placed in clinicals first then we can get our booklist and register for classes. I hate that they are taking so long. We are really not going to have much time to get all of our stuff. I plan to order my books i just hope they leave enough time for me to get them shipped to me before classes start.
I just came from FIU. I went to see Claudia. There still a problem with registration. If anyone has problem registering, call the nursing department and ask to be transferred to Claudia. I went there to see her, tried to register first but I couldn't and She just put me in the choosen section. If the problem continues, call her and give her the schedule you want. She will put you in whenever she gets to it. The safe thing to do is to go to her.
The labs schedule will be choosen by Dr. Olenick and Delgado. So if someone wants the 1pm to 5pm lab, they might not get it.

Thanks for letting us know! I noticed the problem was still there. Though I was able to successfully enroll in 2 classes, the system wouldn't let me complete the other 2.
Just got registered myself for class! Heads up to anyone not yet registered, section 1 is completely closed and the 3029 Lab from 1-5pm is also closed!

I really need to be put into sec 2 because I get out from work Monday at 7am which conflicts with another class. Is anyone willing to switch with me pretty please that was put into sec. 2?
