Who else is taking NCLEX (RN or PN) first week of October? Lets get together and cheer/support each other. :balloons:
I am in the same boat as you testing the 10th but no matter how much studying i do i dont think i could ever feel totally prepared good luck to you, where are you taking yours?
Thanks good luck to you too. I'm taking mine in NJ in the A.M. and I really hate mornings but I have to do this and my mindset is whatever happens I gave it my all...My summer was non-existant b/c I spent most of my time studying so I'm going for it. I'm a little rusty on labs, insulin, and pharm but it's 2 much 2 know everything and it's impossible to know everything. I am really trying my best to remain calm and I must say it's working. I'm taking the test for the first time so I don't know what to expect but hey, it has to be done :) Good luck to everyone taking it!!!!

wow you did very well on your question trainers, I can't say I got that high. Good 4 u :)
Thank you Lord that soon is the big day! let your guidance and your perfect preparation for us on this nclex rn exam, bear so much good fruit, the fruit of success! empower us with the intelligence, patience, ability to understand what each questions are asking and ability to choose the best correct answer for each questions, destroy the hindrances that will block us from receiving your grace on this exam, take away the nervousness and tension that we somehow still feel inside of us, provide us the endurance and strength all through out the examination period and most importantly fill our whole system with the confidence that is from you God. that only by your grace, all of us, the listed people on this thread "First week of Oct test takers in HERE!," will come out of the testing site, relieved, filled with joy, peace and confidence that we passed that exam and now can be called a u.s.r.n.
God we claim the victory of passing that exam and acquiring that license to become a registered nurse in the united states of america. Praise you Lord, Thank you for blessing us with such a wonderful profession! all these we pray in the sweet mighty name of Jesus. Amen!

I took my test yesterday. I had 75 questions and was completely convinced that I failed the test. For Floridians, you can go to the Dept of Health website, then to Contact Us, then call the professional license verification number. The Dept of Health receives the results within 24 hours but don't post the license numbers for a few days. I was very excited when I learned that I had passed my test and had been issued a license within hours of taking my test. Best of luck to everyone.
WOW congrats i hope to be in your shoes soon i test tomorrow!!!!

I just took it today and i am freaking out! i was not expecting to get over 200 questions. What the heck does that mean? did i pass/fail? did i screw up so badly that they just want to torture me even longer by dragging it out that long? i felt i got more knowledge-based questions? is that a bad sign? i left the testing site feeling depressed- i just wanted cry. i am happy that it's over, the test-taking part, but now i have to wait for the results. the agony of waiting kills me.... i prepared for over a month taking the kaplan course and studying for more than 10 hours a day and i felt no matter how much or how i studied it wouldn't have made a difference:(
Just got back from taking the NCLEX RN computer shut off at 75 got alot of fluid/ electrolytes, endocrine, delegation, prioritizing, infection control, 3 math questions and like 5 or 6 select all that apply. Is this a good sign????
WOW congrats i hope to be in your shoes soon i test tomorrow!!!!
I chickened out of the game, I took my last question trainer #7 I did terrible, I know i have to study more of the content. I've been away since 2006. I really didn't make the effort to have a study plan, I paid for Kaplan course and it expired already. I still have my Saunders that I truly have to study from. I really didn't like the Kaplan question strategies because it's so confusing. I will be trying the ncgbc, it's cheaper anyways. So yea, today (Oct. 10) I would of been agonizing about my results. Good luck Guys!!!!!
