I am taking anatomy and a math course this summer! First day I am on the track to being totally independent. I am a single mom to two little girls and this is the start of our future! Just wanted to share with people who get it! :)

Hey!
Good luck!!
I have two children too :)
I'm starting the RPN program in September. I've taken two classes online and am taking another class at night now. I'll take another class in the summer before I start the program in September.
So in total ill have completed four classes before my program in the fall. I'm SO glad I'm doing it this way, it'll be a lighter course load and I'll be able to focus on my classes better with it spread out like this.

I'm taking a&p1 too! My class started yesterday and I feel like its been a lot longer. It is super intense! And I have 3 kids (15, 3 and 7months) and finding time to study is a challenge! When does your classes start?

Best of luck! I was a single mom of two little girls too.
I started on May 28th, second class is tonight. Studying for me is after my girls go to bed and our class requires an access code which works with my phone so I can literally do questions all day long in between being a mom.

If u can, find a friend to watch your kids once or twice a week for a few hours. I have 4, I am incredibly lucky to have found a friend at this duty station who has already been thru nursing school and understands.
Study when they are napping, let go of the fact that your house needs to be perfectly clean :) , focus on your studies, and take it one day at a time.
I am taking advantage of all times I can at the moment. Luckily my girls are in bed at 7pm so I literally clean and play while they are awake and the moment they are down for the night, grab a drink and begin studying until 11 or so every night. Add in I knew what books and what the class was going to cover so I already have preread a few chapters and listened to the lectures online once. I am preparing as best I can. :) when I have extra sitter time available I take advantage!
