I was just termed from mega hospital KAISER I feel sick I was told we don't think you are a gd match for this particular clinic I have nothing ill to say Abt u and will mark you as a rehire if ur still interested I wasn't even given a chance to work and show my skills didn't even make it past shadow stage ....has anyone work for kaiser and been fired and rehiried what are my chances ...thanks
first of all, i'm sorry to hear that this occurred to you. however, i strongly believe that there's always a silver lining to every misfortune if you believe in yourself. moreover, try to learn from the experience and place into practice a positive attitude. wishing you the very best in all of your future endeavors...as i send you hugs from across the miles...ciao~
I was fired last year from one dept and hired at same facility into a different dept 3 weeks later. Was told I was not a "good fit". The new dept and I fit great. Found out later that the original dept has a lot of "problems" Look on this as a learning experience and realize that there is a lot of "crap" like this that goes on in nursing. Put it behind you and go foreward. Since you were in orientation don't even bother to list this facility on your resume.
Maybe you reminded the guy of his last girlfriend or something
UPDATE I was able to get in contact with another head recruiter and he said this is something common, and that he will send my file to the top of the list out to a hiring manger for consideration out of his area ...funny how we as humans can feel like crap one min and on cloud nine the next.....so happy right now thank you god
Yes I think they will! But in a different unit because I mean, they already wasted time going through all the interviewing process and orientation with you and that is a lot of time and money already. You probably know their documentation system and policy/procedures, etc. Besides, HR ppl are nicer than you think.
And theoretically, if you talk to 2 diff places, you may have 2 positions available to choose from. Don't give up on a great teaching hospital because I'm sure there is wonderful experience to be had there.
I was rejected after my interview but let HR told me I should check back the next round they hire and I received a call back with a new open position 2 wks later. It was a miracle. I was sort of depressed but patiently waiting, and had a backup plan in mind.
