Ah, is that so?
Okay.
I still have a question regarding with one of the requirements for CABON:
*In the Fingerprint Card, what race will I print in the box since only one letter fits the space?
Thanks in advance!

3 letters fit that space. Put in ASN for Asian.
Wow!
That really helped a lot.
At least I only have 2 blanks left in my fingerprint card.
May I ask you again?
With the aliases and social security no. which I left blank, because I haven't use any other name besides my real name and we all know when the SSN comes, is it really appropriate to leave it blank or just put none or not applicable or N/A?
And, what can I tell the NBI Official to take extra care in the fingerprint procedure?
Thanks again!

Yes, everything that does not apply to you either leave it blank or write N/A. There seems to be no difference on w/c to do as I know people who have done either route and there were no problems.
The NBI "Master" finger printer in Carreido, Manila if you are w/in Metro Manila will only handle the finger printing process and then affix his name on it. He doesn't care what is printed on it. That will be your responsibility. If you have an extra copy of the card then you may have it done twice but you only need to send one copy.
Thanks!
Do you pertain to a specific NBI Master Fingerprinter, whichever name we call him?
Or any other NBI Official located in the 6 floors of NBI Carriedo, will do?

No, only the Chief finger printer does the fingerprinting for the FBI cards, the US Dept. of Justice and any other cards for out of the country use and usually there is only one on-duty in a given day. The rest of the finger printers will not do it when they see that it is for out of the country use and they don't care if you have been in line for more than hour, so better locate where the Chief is.
Just wanted to help other members here, that do not know exactly where to go for the fingerprinting.
Go to NBI Carriedo for fingerprinting. Pay 20 pesos as Entrance Fee then proceed to the 6th Floor and go to Room 204. Sign the Logbook and wait for the slip before proceeding to the 5th Floor. There are only 2 persons qualified to take your fingerprints so look for them first, do not line up in any other queues. Once you find them, give the Fingerprint Cards and the slip. Pay 2 pesos for the wet tissue.
That's all, oh so simple!
Hope I have helped some.
Hi..Looks like this fingerprint question has not been clearly answered..I would like to inform the new members of this forum, the process for the fingerprint card and as well, would like to correct what's posted above.. :imbar
I just went to NBI Carriedo last Tuesday, July 10 and arrived there at 4:30PM. I went in and bought 2 yellow stubs (20php each) since I would ask them to print on my 2 fingerprint cards. Then, I went to the 6th Floor, Room 604 and signed in their logbook. After signing, I was given a routine slip with my two yellow stubs. I immediately went down to the 5th floor and proceed to Step No. 5 for the fingerprinting. At that time, there was only one technician authorized to take fingerprints recognized by the FBI. When he finished with both of my fingerprint cards, he signed his name and date on it. I left the building after an hour and a half. That's all! I'm finished. :w00t:
Hope I've helped some of you.

Hi Lawrence, I was browsing through this site and stumbled onto your post about the abbreviation for ASIAN which is supposed to be placed in the race box. My concern is, I've already submitted my application to CA board of nursing and I was also in the middle of confusion when trying to come up with the proper word to fill such box, I finally placed in the word ASIAN. But somehow it looks a little obscure, and that's exactly what's troubling me ever since I sent the application.
What do you think about that? Do you think there's a risk they might reject my application form because of that?
Thank you
