  1. Hi, congratulations to those who were accepted. I wanted to know if anyone of you can give me feedback on the DNP - Executive Nurse Administrator? Thank you so much!
  2. Hi, if you would like may be I can help you. Which part of California are you looking to work at?
  3. Hi guys, I'm facing the same predicament too. I have about 5 and half years experience overseas which includes an almost 3 and a half years of experience in a Joint Commission-accredited hospital. I received my RN license last July. I'm surprised how difficult it is to find an RN job here given the plentiful RN job openings around. Is the RN job marked that tough to get into here in SoCal? I hope there are updates on this issue that can be shared. Thank you!
  4. Hi, I'm quite impressed with the discussion here. Actually I'm sort of in a desperate mode right now and I'm looking for any prospective employer who can help me get an H1B visa even if it means that I have to pay for some of the fees. I got 3 years experience in Cardiac cath lab and CCU complete with a VSC and IELTS certificate. It's kind of frustrating at this point when all there is, is wishful thinking on going to the US of A.
  5. Hi salve! It really is a good thing for you to have the approval that fast. I'm an applicant of CHC as well. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. may God help us all as He wills :-)
  6. Thank you, thank you so much to you both for replying so swiftly. I appreciate it. I called CGFNS already the operator told me to just send the high school diploma myself.
  7. Hi guys, the visascreen application is stressing me out, BIG TIME. I wanted to know what if the high school where I obtained my secondary education is closed but I do have an authenticated xeroxed copy of my high school diploma? Can I send it to CGFNS? My high school is not even in the Philippines but it's in Saudi Arabia. I honestly don't know what to do. It's so frustrating. :-( Thank you
  8. may God ease things for you and your family
  9. Thank you so much for the info! It certainly does make things clearer.
  10. hi je_da! thank you so much for your reply i truly appreciate it. have a nice day and may god bless you!
  11. Hi Lawrence, I was browsing through this site and stumbled onto your post about the abbreviation for ASIAN which is supposed to be placed in the race box. My concern is, I've already submitted my application to CA board of nursing and I was also in the middle of confusion when trying to come up with the proper word to fill such box, I finally placed in the word ASIAN. But somehow it looks a little obscure, and that's exactly what's troubling me ever since I sent the application. What do you think about that? Do you think there's a risk they might reject my application form because of that? Thank you
  12. What do you guys think of Kaplan - Makati branch that offers NLE review as well?
  13. Hi, when I was inquiring about BSN in Perpetual about 3 years ago, I noticed that they have a lot of religious subjects, unlike in Olivarez college which is a seemingly more secular college. Olivarez, I believe is more flexible when it comes to second course takers. Good luck!
  14. So basically a foreign nurse could apply for the Visascreen even without a hard license, and just a letter proving that a nurse has passed the NCLEX like in the case of CA?
