yes, olivarez accepts any second coursers. also, they (nursing department & registrar's office) are very accommodating with any inquiries about their program. all the personnel i've met and talked to where very student friendly! they answered every single question i asked them! thus, helping me in my decision making. babysmiley_me, i agree with what rnhawaii34 already said. for sure being a md (surgeon) you'll have many subjects credited in their program and will just have to take the major nursing subjects plus some minor ones as well. i have an allied medical degree and most of my subjects were credited by the registrar's office after their evaluation and it will take me 3 years to finish the program. although it is 3 years, it will never be a full load for each semester because of my credited subjects. just don't know if its 3 years as well for you... to all of you who have responded to this thread, i say, thank you for helping me decide between perpetual and olivarez...now, i'm ready to experience the olivarian education - educating the mind, body, and soul!

Hey Guys! Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate it a lot! Up to now my mind is hurting as to what choice of school! But your replies has helped me in so many ways...I inquired already with UPHR and told me that it will take me 3 years to fininsh the course (considering I graduated with a medical related course) and only credited few subjects, PE, thelogy/religion, etc are still pending prior to approval of concerned personel...What turns me off is the longer period for me to finish the course and all the other minor subjects I have to retake under their system. Are all these subjects related to the practice of nursing? As to Olivarez still have to go their and have my transcripts evaluated. I agree with bebe13 100% ! I believe the the student will play a significant role in his/her succcess with the studies plus the divine intervention of our Lord! Its just that I want to have a good start with my nursing education, or the best place to nurture my nursing skills and knowledge. Especially, to finish it in the shortest period possible without compromising the knowledge, education, skills, etc. Please share with me your experiences with Olivarez? The learning environment and acquisition of important and related skills? Are all the 2nd coursers group in one section or is it all mixed up together with the regular students? For how many semester and summers to finish the nursing program? Once enrolled what is your status, regular or irregular student? How about the faculties or clinical instructors? Hospital affiliations? RLEs? and other significant details that can help me decide to go Olivarez? Aside from the subjects they want you to take are there other factors that influenced you to transfer to Olivarez? PLEASE HELP ME.... any ideas which among these 2 institutions, University of Perpetual Help in Las Pinas and Olivarez College in Paranaque offers good nursing program for a 2nd courser? Hi Winterfairy! I am new here. I would like to ask you some questions regarding your experiences as a 2nd courser in UPHR-Dalta. Im planning to take BSN (as a 2nd course), my choices are (based from proximity to my location) Perpetual and Olivarez College in P'que. But, I'm more inclined to pursue it sa UPHR. Kamusta ba ang buhay ng isang 2nd courser dyan? Naalagaan ba kayo? Quality of education? Instructors? RLEs(ano ba itong RLEs ano ginagawa dito? Affiliation? Fair ba ang treatments nila sa isang 2nd courser or priority nila ang regular students (esp. with duties) what are your concerns about the school?
