Finding the right books..

Published

hello everyone! this is my first post. it's my second semester in nursing and i love it! i've learned so much but the work load is never ending. but with that said.. i'm curious to see what everyone uses to find the pathophysiology of disease processes. my books that i'm required to get helps to some extent but sometimes i can't find what i need. and my school is pretty picky about what we use to cite our information. i'm just trying to find one book that has all the information that i need to find everything there is about diseases and what not.. thanks for your help!!:)

You probably can't find everything you need in one book.

Use your school's library for additional resources as well as the vast amount of research papers and scholarly articles on the internet.

Just be sure to cite your references correctly.

I love the Incredibly Easy series, they have a patho book but I ended up buying Med/Surg made incredibly easy each section briefly covers patho in a way that is simple to understand and quick to the point. I also bought nursing questions and answers made incredibly easy. I would suggest getting both, especially the Q&A book if your school using NCLEX style questions. The more NCLEX questions you do the easier it is. Try looking on amazon.com you can get pretty good deals on used ones.

alright, thank you so much! any advice helps! :)
